Does anyone else have any of Doreen Virtues Oracle decks? I have almost all of them except her Messages from your Angel cards, i just wasnt interested in those.

I find that I am much better reading for other people with them than I am reading for myself with them.

Yes, I have several of her decks. I have both the Healing with the Fairies and Healing with the Angels decks as well as the Messages From Your Angels deck.

I generally use these decks for myself only, and read Tarot for others. Every once in a great while, I'll pull out one of the decks to work with someone else, but not often. Primarily I do this because when reading for myself I use her interpretive text, but when reading for others I am more comfortable using the Tarot. Make sense?

I like Doreen Virtue's work and have actually taken one of her 2 day seminars when she was in Massachusetts several years back. I have especially liked her most recent book, Angel Medicine as she discussed quite a bit about her past incarnation in Atlantis, which caused me to recall some of my own past experiences there...

I have read 3 of Doreens books, which is a major accomplishment for me since I have a hard time reading because I have like, no attention span...lol. Her book "Divine Guidence" is like my bible, I love that book.

I can see how it would be easier to use her cards to read for yourself with the little subtitles on the cards as compared to tarot because it can be harder to interpret tarot for yourself. but for some reason when I do readings with myself with her cards they never make sense and dont seem to have anything to do with the questions I ask. Perhaps Im not asking the right questions.

I dunno, anything is possible. And believe me, I know what a perverse sense of humor the Univers or The God and Goddess or whatever you want to call It/Them has...

I have the oracle cards and the angel cards. I must say that I'm having a problem using the oracle cards because they were printed using solvent inks and though I aired them out for weeks (and have owned them for at least 6 months) they still smell awful and my fingers smell after I use them. Anyone else have this issue?
