Greetings Ms. FishKitten...Long time no see... but I have been pre-occupied of late with my mother's passing, the new job and such things. Greetings...Ok, so here's one for the books... It's Friday the 13th, and I was on the way to my lawyer's office to sign probate papers on my mom's estate (just the formality to be named as executor of the estate) when I had a car accident. Oh, and as an aside, I also wanted to begin to draw up my own will... A little old man (84) turned left into oncoming traffic against the right of way.. ok so that would be me on both counts. My car sustained some fairly decent damages, no one was hurt (thank God/dess), and now I'm driving a ticket-me-now-red Jeep Liberty rental. It's only a car... Blessings.. A ------------------

Hey,I have a similar story, today I was backing out of my driveway, and I guess because I was in such a hurry I didn't notice I was scraping my dad's car until "SMASH" my rear-view mirror broke into pieces. I had the window open, and the scary part was some of the parts hit my face, and barely missed my eye. Nothing happened, except I'm without a car for now.  The only way I can explain this one is with all of my negative thinking, and my rush rush rush! I think my higher self was telling me to slow down, I'm going to fast, and at least it was in the driveway, and the other car was my dads. -StarLover IP: Logged |
