I apologize for my ignorance regarding Tarot, but I have noticed that I pull this card with great frequency. I really do not deceive myself that much at this point in my life and was wondering whether anyone had any insight into the card's positive meanings. Thank you very much for your help!

I read that it can indicate an active dream life and the development of psychic powers. I know when I get this I always think "oh no, deception, muddled emotions etc, but there can be positiive meanings to it. Maybe next time, you could let us know which other cards you got around it, and it will be easier to understand the meaning - xx

Hi Sue!

Thank you for your input! The last time I pulled this card it was in a 3-card spread. It was surrounded on the left by The Empress and on the right by the 4 of Wands. My question to myself was "What is my purpose?" Thank you for your interest.

Hi D, my take on moon with empress and 4 wands, is motherhood and a home, putting down roots - is this what you are hoping for? Whenever I do readings with 4 wands showing, it has always been connected with my home - good luck, hope this helps and doesnt freak you out!!!!!!!!!! x

The moon can sometimes mean that things are undercover or hidden from your view at this time. The darkness before the light. I rarely feel the Moon as a negative card unless specific cards around it are saying to watch out.

In your case, the moon seems positive when surrounded by Empress and 4 wands.

Thank you! You guys are awesome! My family and home ARE the most important things in my life by a wide margin. Maybe that is what I am "meant to do", at least for now.

The Moon is actually a wonderful card. The moon has to do with going with in, and being honest with ourselves. It has to do with feeling our emtotions, not to be afraid of them. Even when those emotions are sadness and anger, especially when they have to do with sadness and anger. The darkest hour is right b/f dawn. If you look at any tarot deck the moon comes right b/f the sun. If you want to radiate light like the sun you must first reflect the light like The Moon.
In order to get to The Sun you must go through The Moon.
Here is what Gerd Ziegler( interpreter of the Aleister Crowley deck and tarot reader) says about The Moon:
"Pisces; final testing; wrong turns; illusion; buring off karma; interaction struggle with the subconscious; threshold to new levels of consciousness.
The Moon is the process of diving further and deeper into the darker realns of the soul. It is the time of final, and often most difficult testing. The danger of forgetting your true goal in the darkness is very great. The Moon symbolizes here the unconscious aspect of the feminine; changeable, moist, shawdowy, seductive, possessing and eery attraction. Everything appears mysterious, doubtful and bewitching.
But only passing through this gateway will new life arise. The path to awareness leads us through unawarness, the unknown. Anyone who wishes to be a person of wisdom of live like The Sun must first deal directly and fully with these areas of ignorance."
The Moon is about going with in, feeling, crying, getting angry, forgiving, but most of all it has to do with being honest with yourself.

Thank you very much, Jupiter, for your in-depth reply. I am definitely going through that area of my life right now where I am dealing with the uglier sides of my personality. I had a good chance to set something right yesterday and I turned it down. Hopefully in the near future I will be stronger. Thanks again.

divinia,
I;m glad that I can give you some insight. Don't be hard on yourself or beat yourself up, remember your going through an evolvement process. This process doesn't happen overnight so be patient and forgiving with yourself. The universe will give you another chance to set things straight. These chances will be contiually brought to you, the universe desires you to be happy.
Good luck- divinia

I agree with Jupiter.
