I've come to enjoy small decks more, ease in shuffling. If I were to narrow it down, my favorites are from etsy. I'm too sleepy to narrow 5hat to one favorite. I'm drawn to sexual tarot decks like Decameron and Casanova. They are so fun to read intuitively because not only are the people naked, but so are their intentions and desires (completely exposed) Casanova Tarot is my favorite. I also LOVE John Bauer Tarot. The illustration style (not the illustrations themselves) remind me of Where The Wild Things Are. I grew up with Reading Rainbow. This deck just takes me back, and helps me understand the most unique meanings for the cards we know well. IP: Logged |

I have way too many decks. I collect decks like Carrie collected shoes on Sex And The City 😭Some of them are just because the artwork is so stunning to look at. For example my best friend went to the Dali museum in Cocoa Beach and bought me the most beautiful boxed set. It's velvet and gold.. just stunning. But if I had to keep just one deck it would be my 1971 edition of The Rider Waite. I love the cardstock. The colors. The way they've become soft with age. I noticed a long time ago that whenever I use another deck I picture the corresponding card from RWS in my mind. That told me that I am fused with those images and that's okay with me. IP: Logged |
