getting back to the real point.
I did post a entry about this earlier, but it seems so much more serious now.

well for one I used to read the tarot cards, if there was one thing I thought I was good at and so did others this was it.

It not only gave me immense pleasure to help others but also a sense of accomplishment.
as much as people like to call it a dark art or even divination for that matter, I thought it gave me direction, it helped me.

somehow for over a year, I am so lost...
everything has changed am more busier, I do more different things...
I have become more career oriented and more 'this world' if you understand what I mean!

It really pains me that I cannot touch my deck, somehow that inclination is just not there.
It has also shocked people close to me, my whole life was somehow governed by topics such like this.

the works.

somehow all of it is lost now.
Its more work and and so called practical stuff

am really in pain....initially I just thought maybe am busy, but even when I get time and when situations arise when I really want guidance...I do not go to it.

As if some physical force is almost stopping me.
some people told me that sometimes tarot is just a stepping stone, you move on to different things once you've delved into this enough.
I did move on to regression, but very shortly!
A lot has happened. a friend of mine used to always tell me you were never meant for stuff like this...your more of a sweet chick maybe astrology(do I sense jealousy there, a reason to be the better one among us?)
well anyways i tried 2 years of astrology also...but it was vedic and the teachers made me go to sleep!
it's been so long that I feel maybe I really am not capable of going back to it.
maybe those few years were just a temporary phase...maybe a relief when I was in the worse form I think I have ever been!

my question is...
how can something you know so closely and really be a phase?
sooooooooo many people showed trust in me, my teachers thought I was gifted...and even more told me this line was for me?!
then wat is the issue?

well in the end if am not for alternative healing.
I think I can accept it...BUT I just want to know for sure?

Well.. pick up the cards and have a go!

Sometimes we are led to study a subject such as Tarot or Astrology or whatever, for the purpose of Soul growth. We may be drawn to it from previous lives, or perhaps we are finding them now for the first time; either way they come to us when we need them and for whatever reason.

It seems that the world is too much with you now. That you are so caught up in your day to day reality, that you are either too busy to allow yourself the time to go back to your studies, or perhaps you just need a break. That happens.

Your Higher Self may be telling you to just be and experience for a while. It does not mean that you will never go back to the studies, but perhaps you need the time away in order to have experiences that will help you to become a better psychic/clairvoyant/healer or what have you.

We cannot always FORCE these issues, but must allow ourselves to be led, as the need arises, and we should be gentle with ourselves during this process.

I study all areas of metaphysics, but I do notice that sometimes I focus my attention more on one particular area than another. And several months later, the area may shift and another becomes of more urgency while the others take a back seat.

We all have nothing but Time. Give yourself the grace to know when the time is right to resume your studies... of NOT, as the case may be.

Just remember all the while, you are never alone. You have only to turn within, and ask for answers... THEN you must pause to listen.

sounds as though you are questioning a lot of things about life in general, not just your metaphysical connection.

We are all on the same path to reach the same destination, but your estimated arrival time will vary, depending on your rate of growth.

It has been my experience that the Universe (or your God) will place in front of you the necessary lessons to move you along that path.

Luckily, the right tools to help you with those lessons are also provided.

We do not stand still on this journey. We are continually learning, growing, evolving. Our life changes so naturally, the lessons and challenges that are presented to us will also change, as may the tools to assist you overcome/learn them.

You may or may not return to the Tarot - I don't think that's really the issue here. It's more that you need to embrace whatever is thrown before you. Accept it as being part of your destiny, which may see you standing before several crossroads in your life. It is always your choice which road to take. Both will eventually lead you to the same destination.

So, you think you may have deviated off your path? If you really want to know if your Tarot days are over, why don't you simply do a one-card daily draw? Will definitely give you some insight into where you're at...and may help you to clarify the role of Tarot in your past, present, and future.

sorry, I only just saw your question. I don't log on here very often and I find the software a little cumbersome in that you can't have posts emailed for threads that you've posted in.
