Greetings...Well, that would be quite an issue.
Firstly, I do not necessarily buy into the "Soul Mate" concept as I think it is severely misunderstood.
That having been said, and putting aside my personal bias about that issue in general, it's more complicated than you might at first think.
First, in what order did the cards fall. Were you reading left to right, or right to left?
A 3 card spread like that for me would indicate a YES if all the cards came out in an upright position. If any of the cards were reversed, then that would modify the original answer.
The way I look at a Yes-No spread such as that, to answer a direct question would be to place the cards on the table in a straight line from right to left.
The first card that was turned up would represent the PAST to me, the 2nd or middle card would represent the Present and the 3rd would be the Future (all to be read of course, according to the nature of the question).
Every reader may have their own way of interpreting a 3 card spread, so a lot would depend on your intent, or design when you shuffled and drew the cards. In other words, the Past-Present-Future designations may not apply.
For example: you could as easily say that the first card selected represents the Physical plane, the second card represents the Emotional plane and the third represents the Spiritual plane.
So you see, it can be a complicated matter. In order to interpret the reading properly a reader would need to know the "context" in which the cards were laid out.
Some spreads give specific meanings to POSITION in the spread: for example, the Celtic Cross spread or the Astrological Houses spread.
All of that having been said... you can see it is not a "simple matter" to interpret a question such as this, particularly one of such a personal and emotionally charged nature. That is a lot of power/weight to give a Tarot reading. And as always, a lot depends upon your frame of mind/emotional state/intent when you asked the question.
Were you emotionally positive, were you depressed, were you sincerely looking for an answer to that particular question; or were you just casually testing out the cards? Emotional states can and do often color Tarot readings.
Having said all this, and probably really overthinking or complicating the issue; the cards you selected were very positive it is true, those cards do bode well for your answer.
However, for a matter such as this, which for many people is both emotionally and Spiritually charged... I'm not sure that I would place the onus of the answer on a set of cards, or even an astrological chart.
I often say to people that the cards are for clarity when you cannot see the forest for the trees, as it were. They are not the final answer on all topics, as they often reflect the emotional state/desire of the querent (person asking the question) as they do the Truth.
Though I am an Astrologer and a Tarot reader, I do not "run my life" by these tools. And over the years, my understanding of the Tarot has shifted from a divinitory use to a meditative tool for Spiritual development and text book of the Western Mysteries.
I hope that I have not clouded this issue, please feel free to ask for clarification of anything I have said. And more importantly, if "Soul Mates" is an important belief for you.. my best advice would be to judge not by cards or charts, but to Listen to the Voice within, that will always speak the Truth for your Highest Good.
Blessings in the Light...
