I posted this is Yellow wax, but I wanted your guys' opinions as well, in case you don't post there.
long story to short.
They are doing major construction on the river that I live a block from.
They will be taking away a large portion of the river rocks.
Anyway, I was considering collecting some for various artistic endevours, and one of them was painting runic symbols on them to make sets.
My question, do you think I should stick to the 'classic' symbols and interpretations, or, stick to the classic symbols with basic interps, yet add my own spin, or do you think I should make up my own original symbols and interps?
Any opinions are welcome and appreciated.

Sure I don't see why not.
I certainly have enough of them! You should see the huge bins of rocks that they are hauling out of there.
