A Simian line is one solid line across the palm, instead of having a heart line and a head line. Just one line instead. This line is very common in Downs Syndrome but it does occur in those without Downs.
What the line means in palmistry:
Extremely single minded, intense, dogmatic.
Devote every part of oneself to whatever one chooses to do.
If the line is closer to where the heart line would naturally be, there is more intensity of feeling and affection than mental intensity.
If the line is closer to where the head line would be, it shows more head and mentality with very little heart.
On both hands, will go their own way, not needing input from others. May be unwielding and stubborn.
Gives high intelligence.
Focused on a particular thought, excluding all others.
Gives the ability to focus on one thing absolutely to the exclusion of all else.
Having it on both hands means the person will generally accomplish far more than most, due to the same intensity that drives them. This is truly a double edged sword.
Sometimes this may make one extremely obstinate, having difficulties in relating with others.
Can be single-minded, highly tenacious and have highly complex emotions.
Will be very reasonable when discussing an issue, but once the mind is made up, will not want to discuss the matter further.
They are either all heart at times or all head at times. That is emotional or mental, meaning they will lead with their heart or lead with their head, unlike people with both lines who can balance head and heart issues.
