About two weeks I was housesitting for my mom's friend. One day I entered the backdoor and the kitchen is to the left of the backdoor. I turn to go to the kitchen and as I walked toward it, I saw a cereal box lying in the middle of the floor. I thought it was strange so I looked to see if any windows were broken or what not. Nothing. I didnt see any cupboards open and I had no idea where the cereal box came from. Odd. But this is even more odd: Every day that I was housesitting, I would smell this scent in the air in different locations in the house at different times. It smelled of a man's deodorant. I DON'T wear deodorant but roll-on. But it was definitely a man's deo scent I could smell, around the house. This was everyday around the house. I didn't feel or see anything out of the ordinary except the cereal box the one day. I suspect it is the lady's ( whose house I was looking after) deceased husband, checking up on things.IP: Logged |

How caring!! Sometimes even when some hubbies are alive they don't bother about their better half and here we have one who is in the other world checking back on his wife. I might sound little weird here but i find that very caring. And it reminds me of a story. This is when Ramakrishna Paramhans (an Indian saint) had left his mortal remains behind (in our place we don't use the term 'dead' for enlightened persons). His wife was travelling in a train/bus (i dont remember which exactly now) and had her arm on the window. However, it was protruding out. She immediately heard his voice asking her to take it inside. PPl revered her too as she was an authority in her own rights. IP: Logged |

I pick up scents too. I always get a strong scent of my grandpa time and again. It's his way of saying that he is checking up and there is always a feeling of calm and peace..then poof, gone.------------------ quote: Remember, love can conquer the influences of the planets....It can even eliminate karma.
