To me it looks pretty clear-cut, especially with the stars inbetween the gentleman and the lady, the dog underneath the gentleman, the ring underneath the stars... When I do this spread, it's usually the near-far method, where the cards closest are interpreted as having most importance and the cards furthest having the least. I assume, because I gave my energy to them, the intention with which to read them, will probably stay the same although I am well aware that a lot of people use this spread for telling past and future

Whats in your control: mountain, the blockages and obstacles are all under your control

I just spent some time bawling my eyes out. Don't know what to make of him. In his eyes I see he wants to but his behaviour is just way too confusing. Plus, I have no idea why I am bawling my eyes out over a guy I've only just got to know.

If it is written in the stars I don't know what is going to happen but due to my past experiences I don't know how long I can handle this tip-toeing around each other.

For the past sudden success I'd have to say it's a no. I've not found success and what could be considered success (starting school again) was planned a long time beforehand, so it wasn't really sudden.

Not sure if the messages etc would apply to me, or the invitations. All I can say is that I did hit it off with this guy after an invitation from a girlfriend, but no couple, pretty much just her.

The fate cards do make sense. I don't see how I'm doing it entirely to myself though. I've not imagined that he has problems with the fact that I'm a mother to a toddler.

Sorry if I sound a bit incoherent or absent, I had quite a bad day and at the moment I'm cursing in the general direction of the Universe...

Generally, the cards around us were similar. Although, I was in the second row entirely to the right, Moon above me and Mice underneath me, and Gentleman to my left. He had Ring above him, Dog next to Ring, Fish to his left, Stars underneath Fish, and Tower underneath him. The Mice and the Tower look interesting there seeing the curremt situation. I'm experiencing a loss or a missing (true) because of his, pretty literal (don't think you can interpret Tower here as fame), isolation.

I'm usually very tempted to see the Moon as emotions, thanks to Astrology, but as I seem to remember it, it means other things too. But with his Ring next to it, and him being next to me, the cards paint a clear picture that for all intents and purposes, we are a couple.

I really wonder why he doesn't start acting like we are. Really, he's a Libra Sun, possibly with Libra Merc (could be Scorpio at the latest) and Libra is known to not be able to decide, but COME ON! Not even one kiss?

It is strange that readings all seem to point to good things while in reality it seems to not go that way. That being said, there has been always that mention of obstacles, in the horary I put up as well as the cards I drew and the ones Aries did for me. It is hard on me. I don't even know why because I don't know this man for that long, I don't think I could say I'm in love, can I?

ring in house of anchor, so things are halted right now, standing stubbornly where they are. if you guys were already comitted then i would have said this is good, but right now i see that the strong bond aspect of relationship is yet grounded.the anchor to me sometimes represents putting things at a stop.

I'm trying to place it in the timeline because the spread was laid some time ago for the then current situation. The nervousness was definitely an issue. As for the rest, I finally had a good talk with him, a lot makes more sense now. He apparently told most of his friends and probably his family about me, which is a sign that he's not playing around. Also he told me that in public he's just not affectionate, which explains last week (so it's just the way he is). Apparently he's apprehensive of making things serious because he pretty much wants to be entirely sure it's going to work (as do I, I've told him) and partly too because he doesn't know if he wants to give up his bachelor lifestyle. I told him all I need to know is how he feels, and I had an answer to that, I'll give him time but in the mean time he has mentioned that he expected me to call. You know, his cynism and negativism aside, I think we're much more alike than we both realize!

Anyway, soul connection? Could that be a long lasting friendship? I have just decided to end my friendship with someone because he is crazy in love with me, simply does not understand that I'm not attracted to him and that that is a basic requirement for me for a relationship. He was also passive agressive about this guy, saying "you know it won't work, don't you?" and then continuing on that he and I should get together. I have yet to tell this ex friend this, so that could be the secret ending.
