The whole blog is awesome but most of the time we prefer a yes/no one card reading . This one is great with deeper interpretation if you click the card. http://lovedovetarot.com/2012/08/13/list-of-yes-no-tarot-card-meanings-for-love-romance-questions/#more-1570 ------------------ Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/ Follow my blog: www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

just wondering...if a card is reversed would that mean no...no matter the card or.... would it maybe just weaken the likelyhood of the yes or no...i'm guessing the second one..but am still curious about what others have to say IP: Logged |

hmm answer to your questionThanks for sharing STD, glad you found this post helpful in interpreting your own one card draws. For this method, I do *not* use reversals. However, I list yes-no techniques that do use reversals in the post linked right at the top of this article – here is the link again: http://lovedovetarot.com/2012/07/05/yesno-love-tarot-techniques/ This list is based on how I connect with the cards through the Reading the Gap technique: http://www.tarotize.com/2012/04/reading-gap-tarot-technique.html When I started connecting energetically with the cards in the way I describe there, I found reading with reversals superfluous. Hope this helps, Love & Blessings, Lisa ------------------ Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/ Follow my blog: www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.com IP: Logged |

another thing tho..... what if you ask a negative question... like will i fail... and you get something like the sun or the star... would you interpet that as a yes...(you'll fail) or would you look at the postivity and hope of those cards and conclude i'll be ok?IP: Logged |

I'd look at such cards that things will work out well.------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

@Love&Light she wrote at the start :Personally, when reading for myself, I don’t use Court Cards to answer yes-no questions. If I turn one over when asking a yes/no type question, I take it as a sign that I’m not meant to ask at this point in time. You can work your way around this by separating the Courtiers from the rest of the deck or by turning the next card over until you get a Major or Minor Arcana card that will answer your question. However, you will get an extra dimension to this One Card reading by keeping the Courtiers in. If one shows up, you could see it as a mirror of an aspect of yourself that you need to integrate or strengthen before the cards will answer your question. i don't know if you've seen this before, there's another site i have bookmarked about a general yes/no/maybe (all cards included) : http://www.tarotelements.com/tarot-tips/answering-yesno-questions-using-tarot/ IP: Logged |

@hmmI had this concern when Sun or Star falls in fears or what will go wrong positions. No I believe the positive aspect of these cards prevails the negativity of the position. I will have to agree with Randall. I will rather say things will turn out well..However you should be very clear about your question before you do the reading. you get an answer only as clear as your question is @Love&Light I tried that if a court card comes up it means this is what I need to do, this aspect of my personality needs to be strengthened if i want to move to the next card. I pulled the next card and it made sense. It worked for me at least @Anchi I have found that its always better to MAKE your own list of yes/no/may be cards for general or all questions. because this way your subconscious will know which card means what to you. its like asking the pendulum "what is your yes, what is your no & what is your may be" so that you & your pendulum/deck both agree to what is yes for both to you and what is no to both of you. However, in love readings sometimes I need to know what Ace of Pentacles or 6 of six of pentacles would mean. This is where love dove tarot's Lisa 's list comes in handy. ------------------ Pity from an Aries is worse than their contempt \m/ Follow my blog: www.lenormanddraws.blogspot.com IP: Logged |
