Recently got the Golden Tarot Card deck in the mail, I'm learning about it and I'm really happy too. But how do I read it right? I feel a little nervous.

What format do I use for my readings? And do I have to meditate and have strong spiritual discpline toconnect to the higher self thus give accurate tarot readings?

"1. You: 2 of Swords reversed

2. Your perception of him in relationship: 9 of Cups reversed

3. How he sees himself: Death reversed

4. What he signifies to you: The Moon reversed

5. What you signify to him: King of Cups

6. Problems to overcome: 8 of Wands reversed

7. Positive Aspects: Ace of Cups reversed

8. The Result: Knight of Cup"
Is that the format I use? I just shuffle the cards and pull at 8 in order? I'm soo confusedf. Haha

My experience is that you can just say some prayer or other, initially. To ask the deck and whatever to give you the answer. Also, it is important to concentrate and not get distracted. These days I just say the name of the querent several times and whatever info I have about them. Has worked, even online.

I don't do meditation per se, but I guess what I do is try to forget about everything but the question.
