Hi all

I would like to know how many of you read reversed cards in a spread or turn them right side up. An author of a book I am reading regarding the tarot and spreads in particular reads them turned right side up as she feels the rest of the cards should give enough meaning. I would love to know your opinion.

I know that some reads with reversals, other donīt.

I am one of those who do not read reversals, just because it "looks wrong" to me. lol
Also the imagery is so rich of the images itself, and the symbolism, that I don`t feel a need for reversals.

I do think however, that some have wonderful results with reading reversals, too.
Both is valid imo, just you have to be clear before doing a spread, if you are going to use them and if so, in what way.

Yep I'm with Ceridwen in this. I specifically shuffle my cards as to not get reversals. I shuffle the wrong way and pull them all reversed I redo the reading, but usually after some time bc right after everything feels too jumbled and out of place.

I read reversed. I can't imagine not using reversals.

I think the choices are personal, but I think if not reading RX, dignities should be taken in.

Thanks everyone. I think from now on I will just flip them right side up. I agree with some of you guys that reversals somehow look wrong and..I too have dealt the whole deck out with reversals simply from holding them wrong.

Just a little side note - I haven't been doing this for very long but did any of you feel that you became more intuitive? Mine seems to be increasing and I'm having some very vivid dreams.
