Hi sidI would say that there is a job at the same company but its not quite what you would normally go for.
The company feels like it is having a bit of a shuffle as it seems to do periodically, and it seems to me that there is work there for you still. It could even be an advertised position and will definitely have a job description as it sets out what the job requires.
It seems to me that you could approach the company to see if they have any other positions available. You may need to promote yourself as being happy to consider any position. You also may have to promote yourself as a likeable chap that people wouldn't like to see go.
I think the company has enough goodwill to extend an offer to you and keep you on, but you possibly need to make a formal presentation of yourself to get it. ie. dress neatly, smell nice, be well presented and have your credentials available, possibly even obtain a reference from someone in the company itself.
The job opportunity may be what you would consider as going backwards and may require reskilling.
I think also you could well scoop back into your original position or similar, down the track but you will have to stay in good with those who have the say in hiring so that they know you are still interested in doing what you were doing before - however, I think there is a brighter opportunity in the future for you at this company, but even it is only a stepping stone, as probably way down the track there feels like a different location for your employment, like the other side of a big river and with a different company. So even though part of the same metropolis, the location would feel like another city. Does the place that you live and work at have a big river going through it. I looked up biggest rivers in New Jersey, and the image that I have, looked like the photos of either the Hudson river or the Raritan river, but I only chose these out of 5 photos of biggest rivers in new jersey.
The company is progressive, is a good company to stay with, and most importantly they view people as a resource. I don't think they will want to lose you if you come back at them with good hearted motivation to try and stay with them in some capacity.
The timing of the 6 of pentacles is tricky here. Pentacles usually refers to years or can refer to a few weeks in May by some systems. Perhaps all are valid here as this card speaks of a process, like a domino effect in terms of one good turn deserves another type of thing.
So perhaps it is telling you to initiate some interest in you from the company based on your good character. Then perhaps you will see a highlight of your job situation in May, and perhaps you will see some kind of fruition in 6 years.
I tend to like the idea that a symbol has layers and is inclusive.
Truth be told, when you were asking the question, your mind was searching for a more comprehensive account of your career prospects.
Often the simple question we ask has a complex set of contingencies ie. if someone asks when am I going to meet my next love partner, they may actually be asking (but not consciously so) - when am I going to meet the person I am going to marry.
So in conclusion, the advice seems to be:
Stick with the company if you can
Promote a view of you that shows your good character, willingness to take up whatever they can offer you, and convey to them how much you appreciate their company and how much you would like to continue as a company employee.
Hopefully I don't build your hopes up to be nothing.
