Do you think it's possible that one could begin to get conflicting messages from readings (decision making ones) as a way of weaning one off them? I think it may be happening with me. In fact, if I ask the same question twice, I will get opposing messages. Perhaps because, at this point, I should be listening to my own intuition and trusting that events will unfold as they should - in my best interests. There was a time when I needed guidance, and now is the time to become more self-reliant and less anxious.

I just wondered if one's guides could simply be presenting different viewpoints, whilst not telling out right lies, to achieve the above.

Hi

Always go with the first cards shown to you. Those are the most reliable and will have given you your answer.

Cards will get "fed up" & show you different answers or as I had yesterday (when asking the same question again), they just tell you to "stop asking!" & "let it go already". So then the answer is not about your question but directed straight to you & your behaviour.

On a side note: I have this cause I sometimes just play around with all kinds of different sets, without always taking them seriously (by writing things down & thinking about the answer), but the oracle will reflect that back to you.

Hope this was helpful

Thanks Twirl. This is useful to know.

Keeping a record of readings should be helpful. I am not even sure which was my first reading on a particular question. However, one is inclined to ask the same question twice just to confirm the first reading. So, if that is not recommended, then it is all the more important that one asks good readers or trusted readers in the first instance.

Hi

Very understandable I think when more confirmation is needed it is always interesting to ask 'why'. Did it not resonate or is a little voice deep down saying you should change something & it is not a comforting situation like this?

What I personally find really helpful: I do follow advice given by one trusted reader and/or my own guidance (but I ask for external views if I'm too close to the subject). If at any time something does not feel comfortable, I simply look at what I can do with the subject that instant & make a decision about it & take action. If it was the 'wrong one' I will alter my journey again along the way. In general it never comes down to ONE moment in life (because there are many and we can always influence the outcome & our behaviour). Instead of weighing the pro's & cons for long times, I just try to jump in & see more actively what it is all about and adjust if it does not work.

Well, I'm going in Hierophant-mode here, lol. Anyway, I hope it was of some help

Good question. I began keeping a tarot journal about six weeks ago (New Year), and even though I've tried to space out my questions and not repeat questions too soon, it has happened a few times. Thanks for the guidance.
