Did he at some point wish he could've come with me?

(There's follow up to this)

Yes he did at some point as the 3wands and 6wands are positive cards, but it seems either at the last minute or a little before he changed his mind and decided to *sit* on the matter

Was it a trip or something requiring money?

Well he couldn't come because he had a trip that required money. My thing didn't require any money from him.

Both events were on the same day. I asked because I was just wondering offhand if he at some point wish he could've come with me. Maybe to save money? Although that's sounds kinda sad lol

Oh, littlecloud... You can't call people sad AND follow up with a "lol". *cue Mean Girls*

Yeah, that's my impression. I bet he was really liking the idea of coming along, but alas...

Oh no! I mean sad for me! That he would rather have gone with me as a way to save money. In either case he had promised a good friend of his and it would be extremely selfish of me to have told him to change his plans.

I texted him a picture of myself in the dress I wore, which he had told me he didn't like, but I received a fair amount of compliments on. I'm posing in the photo and sent it in a joking manner which led me to ask him how he felt/thought of me in the dress,

7 of cups-5 of cups-8 of rods

I was wondering if he had a different perception this time since I was made-up in the pic rather than the original dressing room pic. The 5 keeps saying 'regret' to me, but I'm not sure why..

I think the arrangement was a win-win situation to him. Not just because of money!

Why would you do that?! Never ever ask a man about your dress! First of all - it is unnatural. Secondly - they think you're dying for their opinion. Thirdly - they think you're dying after them.

As for the second spread - it's like "Damn I missed that"

I never asked! I told him how much I loved it. And he because he was all "meh" about it I texted him how I kept getting compliments on it and that I looked like a ballerina princess so I sent him a pic of me posing as a ballerina.

So for me it wasn't out of neediness but excitement.

Haha! It's cool. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I dated an Aries that got mad at me for buying a shirt that he didn't like on me. I told him I appreciated his opinion but just because I ask for it doesn't mean I'm going to follow everything you say.

^ha! That's cuz you haven't met me in person!

But clothes I don't take too seriously, they're not important enough to get into an argument over.
