I asked if this person has left my life.

one deck tells me

knight of cups -7 of pentacles -10 of cups

another one tells me

ace of swords - Judgement - 2 of cups
and I pulled a clarifier : the sun

hey venus

because I want him to leave!

I asked another deck

9 of pents - the fool - 2 of cups

I swear it's as if these decks work in tandem!

Venus, what is your opinion about the central card in the first spread,7 of pentacles?

To me the 7 of pentacles is warning me of probable failure, that I have to change or modify my behavior, that I will not get what I am looking for.

7 of Pentacles is wait & see for yourself card. It's so annoying. The person is [benignly] calculating - they've done everything they could, and now to see which plan will blossom.

One has already taken some risks, here. And while the "fruition" may not be 100% successful, we're not talking about the failure in 7/P.

Will is important, of course, 7 fall under The Chariot.

^ 7/P in general. Boy, did I have spreads with 7s...

Following recent developments I asked again

9 of pents - 10 of pents - the star

another deck

the star - the devil - 5 of wands

so what do you think?

A question before we continue - why do you consult 2 different decks?

The 1st spread is so positive, it's an eyesore. All eyes set on you. Random thought: They are not sociopathic, are they? (yes, I know I using the wrong term)

The 2nd is more concrete... Wishing (Star) to provoke (Devil) you into action (5 of Wands) = if I read this linearly.

If I read it like I'd read one of my own... I'd say they're very toxic and very determined against you. Devil + 5 of Wands corrupt the Star, her waters.

They are not going away.

Because they give me very distinct insight, they have different energy, one is soft very feminine, while the other is blunt, and can be harsh. I need both to balance things in my head.

What makes you say sociopath?? Is it the pentacle cards?

Yeah my cards speak in a very linear way. I knew the second deck would give it to me as it is.. Hmm it's starting to make sense to me!

Thanks so much for your insight venus!

It has to do with a Tarot experience of mine - when I drew ridiculously positive cards in relation to person who's everything but such; I took some time mulling over that spread, to see is there anything I am missing - could I be wrong when it comes to them?

Now - why would "good" cards show somebody like that? Most likely they're unaware of the damage they can create. They can't process it. They can't connect something bad to their personality (the spread had Sun (!) too) - to think them bad, they would unravel in horror.

- It's like the perfectly wrapped present from he'll - it looks so good and at some point a red flag starts rising. Of course, it's hard to shake off this sort of impression - and furthermore you end up saying to yourself "Paranoid!" "Take a chill pill" and so on.

That's the issue when you're drawing for yourself - you project more than usual.

If your tell-it-like-it-is deck shows a Devil, then I would think you're wise to want them away from you.

We always say the context and the rest of the spread is important before reaching to the conclusion, but Devil is never a naive card. It means business. Maybe Devil can spin a more malignant meaning to 5/W.

If you're intent on keeping them away - and by looking at both of the spreads - I can't imagine what keeps them so hopeful that there will be some kind of development.

It could very be that you're 9/P (the lovely lady) and Star. There's something about you that's reassuring them, I think. Something that is inviting. They are fixed on you.

I like what you wrote Venus and thank you for sharing your experience.

I don't think the person is a bad person or is someone who is against me as wanting to specifically hurt me. This is after all a love interest. Someone I have been talking to for a long time. Someone I have constructed a rapport with. However, the overall situation is not what anyone would like to be in considering it is a relationship. I was thrown off by the cards that I was drawing that didn't mirror the situation at all. I took in what you said and I was mulling over the cards yesterday night and I'd say the person is refusing to accept that I have decided to no longer encourage this situation. That he is actually waiting for 'this mood to pass' It is very irritating.

I have yet to fully understand the meaning of the Devil card though. I have been pulling this card regularly for some time now.

Gosh, they are optimistic.

If you take 5/W with a light hearted spin on it (childlike really) maybe he feels this is just a whim you won't let go of?
