So, I asked m'trusty cards if George R. R. Martin would deliver his 6th A Song of Ice and Fire instalment, The Winds of Winter, next year. A pressing matter, you see.

I got Ace of Cups.

A resounding yes card? I feel this fares well for the man's muse, the flowing inspiration etc.

Obviously, I'd prefer HIEROPHANT or WORLD.

What do you think?

A Song of Ice and Fire is from George RR Martin, a series of novels that have been adapted for the TV series Game of Thrones. Two more novels are in the works. The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring.

I think yes The Winds of Winter will be published next year.

He was inspired by the poem. The polarising theme is pervasive throughout the novels.

The books are MUCH MUCH MORE entertaining than the TV show!

I have stopped watching it.

Jessica,

When I finished book 5, somewhere in the aftermath, I drew one card regarding the fate of a certain character that left me angry/confused. I asked what next for them, for I was hopeful -

I got... Hermit. And I really think it fits.

I drew Hermit quite a while ago!

Oh well... It's Summer.
