Asked how someone felt about me back when we used to hook up. Seems really negative even though this person was nice to me. I added the first 5 cards and got Heart. Any thoughts on what this could mean?

Hey Ash,

I probably wouldn't use so many cards unless you are doing it in the form of a star (head card - what is he feeling - what is wishes etc).

I think that's why it's so confusing because there are so many cards.

From the spread it seems that you guys had some obstacles that made you separate and there was worry and some stagnant energy...

Hi Ash!

I’ve never used before the technique in which you add numbers of the selected cards, reduce the resultant number to a number equal or smaller than 36 and use the card that corresponds to that number as an outcome/the consolation card, but since you use it here, I’m going to try to interpret your 5 line spread with it representing the ultimate determiner of your question.

I think while he might have felt affection (Heart) towards you those days, underneath his feelings weren’t strong enough (Bear-Coffin) to consider taking his relationship with you any further at that stage. Bear-Mice (mirroring technique) pair also confirms this to me: lack of intense and powerful feelings.

Also, I’m not sure about this but maybe there wasn’t enough obstacles in your relationship to stimulate his feelings for you. Was it too easy-going? Coffin-Mountain pair may mean feeling stuck in a boring relationship which again suggests that there wasn’t really anything going on between you two, just some superficial affection.

@Star How many cards should I pull when asking about feelings? I always get the urge to pull more if it's less than 5 but it does only confuse me more.

Hey jolly! I saw Karka do it in her thread so I tried it. And you are right about it being too easy, it was only a sex thing.
