Does this happen to anyone?

Could it be that my own concerns are getting in the way of asking questions for someone else? It is almost as if the opportunity is being used for my benefit.

You mean you seem meaning for things in your own life when you are drawing for them?

Yes, this happens to me. I thank them for the message and depending the question, I redo the reading.

Yes. Even when I pull again the story continues - the cards add more meaning to the one I pulled first. So, I tend to pull a few, and as Carm said, say thank you and then try at a later time.

The thing is, this makes me question sometimes whether the cards could be relevant for the person I am asking about.

It is reassuring to hear that other people also experience this.

You also should consider that cards are a medium for what we already know but need to bring to the surface. If you're experiencing this it may simply mean that's where your focus is at the time, even if you're trying to concentrate on someone else's question. No harm in excusing yourself from an exchange once in awhile if that happens.
