So hung out with a boy and that day asked what to expect; 8 of disks-Justice-6 of cups The cards turned out to be a bit literal. At one point I jokingly said "am I on trial here?" It was very lighthearted but with serious discussion sprinkled in as the Mary-el Tarot describes the cards, and the 6 of cups was renewal and refreshing. It felt as if our bond was sort of going through a cleansing process.

Afterwards I asked how he felt about the time we spent together, what where his reflections on it...kinda like when after watching a movie or reading a book you sort of sit and take it all in, replaying parts in your head, reflecting on what went on.. It was more or less what I was asking.

My first thought was that he felt sad that we had to end our walk but it was needed (he was hungry, I had to go to work). Normally I would see Lovers and Hermits as a break-up so here it sort of similar just shorter term?

Confident in what way?

The Lovers look like fulfilment and happiness. Not a relationship but a deep connection. Possibly sexual attraction?

It was a long walk in a huge park that was very woodsy in some spot and we hadn't seen each other in like 2 months. So while there's a reconciliation factor to it, it feels deeper than that of what the 2 of cups represents. In my experience 2 of cups was a always a short reconciliation, a bit superficial.

Well we flirted a bit today, so I guess he chose being the King of Wands...

Not sure how I feel about your interp for the 1st spread..I want things to change but here the question was poised for that specific allotted time, in which case not much can change.

Initially, I went with - it was great (6/C) but he/you had to get back to work (8/P + Justice). You say he was hungry : Pentacles pertain to the body : Obeying his routinely needs? (8/P + Justice)
