Yes, sadly it is a chronic genetic disease. Or, at least, this is the most likely diagnosis so far but we're seeking more options and opinions.

I'm posting the synastry here, though I increased the orb factor because astro.com overrules some aspects I deem important even if wide-ish. I have not studied it much but I like it, not even the 'steroids because I haven't had much time for astro lately. I steal some minutes when I can.

Though I also like the composite (the Moon-Pluto in Scorpio in the 7th is the main theme of our relationship thus far), the progressions were even more shocking: my p-Sun is separating from trining his n-Venus and his p-Venus is applying to oppose my n-Sun. There were others but I don't recall them now, I think a Mars-Venus trine too in application. FMC has opposite angles to the composite (Libra rising 11 deg). Though I worry it happened during Mercury Rx (Feb 2nd) but you know you can never plan a perfect FMC. It's wonderful though, very suited to the energy between us.

I managed to avoid a VOC Moon in the FMC and you can see how the Moon's aspects are coming into play. First of all, there are no separating aspects, we're starting this slate clean, there are no hung-ups from past relationships that we bring into this one, despite the mutual heavy baggage. The Moon's first aspect is the trine to Saturn and as you can see this became steady very, very fast. I'm awaiting for the oppositions to Mercury and Sun but know that the last aspect is a conjunction to Jupiter.. so there is hope. I absolutely loved the angle conjunctions and the Sabians for the FMC, they are so suited. I might post it in Horary as a case study if others are interested and I manage to squeeze some LL time in the future for some serious stuff. Ugh I feel guilty about that. :/

wow...very strong charts, DM! both your DSC rulers connected to his DSC and/or DSC stellium and ruler. Major mutual intercepetion presence and pattern completion. Many healing trines/sextiles. Classic markers: connections with nodes and vertices, major connections, powerful angle connections. Your healing stellium opposing his 6th ruler, Pluto/-/vertex axis. He completes your angle trine with Juno. Composite NN/vertex, nice wedge, very close relationship with Moon/Pluto there. Sun/Juno. Aries ASC shows you hooked up pretty quickly lol Chart ruler conj 6th ruler, yes, I think health and healing will play a big role. But Jupiter is in the 6th, good omen!

Charts to study for a long time

Good luck and blessings to you two!

Thank you, dear LeeLoo! It has its challenges but it also has potential. Even if I wouldn't look at the charts, I can feel it. And it's been long overdue, for both of us.

Congratulations, DM.
I am so happy for you.

And sad also for the two of you, that you have to battle an illness.

No room for doubt - he is definitely the one in the spread! We said the L word 2 days ago, after.. 10 days? lol Everything is happening so fast, but I love it and try not to get scared by it and just ride the wave. I worry that the tide will get low at some point (what goes up must come down), but I try not to. One day at a time. Though according to our progressions, we should stay strong until 2021. We have another blissful period after 2026 again. His symptoms are getting better too, if it wasn't for my busy and tiring schedule everything would be perfect. At least we get to spend VDay together, though all our days have been special and a celebration. It's the first time in about a decade that I spend Vday with someone, I always managed to find myself alone and mope around this time of the year lol.

Oh, I forgot why I decided to update. lol I met the other guy too! The one I was supposed to work on a project with. He is nice and fun and I think he liked me too, he kept staring at me, but for me right now there is only room for my Leo. We are taking a trip next week for work and I hope we get along well, for the project's sake, but I have no romantic interest in him whatsoever.

Lovely, just lovely.

I love it when you are so happy, and I am happy for the two of you for your bliss and also that his symptoms improve.
And yes, one day at a time (tell that two firesigns ), just go with the flow and enjoy the bliss.

Thank you, my lovely ladies! I did get what I wished for, I still cannot believe it. Not saying everything is perfect, but it's as close to perfect as it could be here on Earth.

I am glad my progressed NN-Venus-Valentine conjunction finally pulled through, as did t-Jup through the 7th. I would have been very disappointed in astrology if nothing good came out of it.

We had a very nice Valentine's day, I hope yours was great as well. Ceri, I forgot to ask, how are things going with your coworker? I had hopes for you two.
