you were mentioning a spread on a dream in the other thread, and since I had a puzzling dream last night, I was wondering what the message of that dream to me was, and pulled three cards.
Sun - Ring - Lily

Hm...it's probably different when you know the actual dream, at least its theme. First question would be: are any of these symbols/a connection to them in the dream itself?
Copying from DM's thread:
1. what is the connection between this dream and my life events? (the connection between the dream and the past) 2. what is the dream trying to tell me (to do)? (the connection with the present) 3. how can I use the dream/what does it lead to? (the connection with the future)
Sun is a connection to something that already happened, a symbol from the past.
Ring is what you have to do in relation to the dream story or how the dream is reflected in the present. Lily is most likely the result of the dream in your real life, in the future - the outcome of the dream projected in your future reality.

It was very sunny, that I remember. Also it was strange. I was looking for someone somewhere, but naturally I didn`t find them, and actually the buildings had totally changed. But that was not a surprise after all more than 10 years had passed.
So I left that backyard of a factory, and when I did I passed him. A guy I once knew in school.
Strangely I was dreaming of him, not how he looked back then, but he was decidely older than the last time I saw him (funny he actually looks like in my dream, as I had googled him today. lol).
I was actually passing him by, when he called me, he apparently had recognized me, and there was not much in that dream. We just were chatting a little, he was talking about some other older schoolmates and also telling me he was still doing music and teaching at the university, I donīt quite remember much more than that. It seems so random. LOL
Oh I do remember that I noticed he wasn`t wearing a ring, and that it surprised me and that I then was surprised why I would even pay attention to if he was wearing a ring or not. lol But when I actually did a google search, it turned out that not only did he look like in my dream (and I haven`t seen him for over 10 years or even thought about him), but yes, he is doing music, and yes he is teaching popular music at an university. Just puzzling I thought.
And also why would I dream of this guys after so many years, and actually we weren`t closely connected back then. It doe snot make any sense. IP: Logged |

Very interesting. The dream speaks to me a lot, in relation to the spread. Sun stands for the positive feeling between you, projected from the past. It's a good omen anyway, as a first card for a spread. Ring - also in the dream wow - shows right now he's not married/engaged and this is important for the message of the dream. Lily stands for a mature love/man and points to him, to how he is now and what could happen between you two - three good cards showing me you should contact him on Facebook/etc. That's what I'll do  Is he Aqua?  ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... I donīt realy think so. We didn`t have contact for more than 10 years, and even in school weren`t really int he same circle of friends. He was nice though.
I do think the dream might be more symbolic. And the ring of course also points to something that repeats or comes full circle.
I suppose there must be something about that particular phase int he past, that is VERY relevant today. "
