5 of Cups Temperance

for someone's state of mind, life stage?

I see a beautiful description here of 5 of Cups: the pain Psyche felt when she thought she had lost Eros forever . So I see a nice connection here with the Eros/Psyche myth, which gives some hope after all. A pain so deep, emerging from our mistake/failure/carelessness, a sense of irreparable loss and guilt BUT the connection of this card to a way out, a possible solution, suggested by the bridge in the distance, the one the hero doesn't see yet, cannot see unless he/she raises their head and looks in the right direction.

So what do you think about the combo between this card and Temperance?

What you say sounds very good and inspiring to me. I also wonder if it implies a longer process, like having patience for the fog to clear and the bridge to appear lol A process related to the right timing and time; the measuring of cups in temperance looks a bit like an hourglass.

The deliberation/exchange (Temp) could lead to an ending, caused but something that's missing, EDIT: sorry, to the loss of meaning of the two cups. Pull an additional card AFTER Death, to see what's after Death, BETWEEN you two. Think it this way.

It looks like a transition period with exchange of information followed by a crucial external event. It doesn't have to be negative, but it is definitely life changing. I think now you're experiencing the calm before the storm.
