So on occasion i have asked a yes/no question and pulled 3 cards....every time I CLEARLY thought it was a yes and it turned out to be a no. For example:

I asked if a class i was teaching this coming monday was going to happen (it had a low enrollment, we were waiting to have a final count). Nonetheless i pulled

Magician
6 wands
Judgement

To me this said YES clearly but it turned out to be a no.

Can someone help me understand this spread and or yes/no questions in general? Should I only pull one card for yes/no questions.

I tend to only draw one card for yes or no's, it just simplifies things for me. I could see how it was a no in that particular spread, because Judgment is about letting go. So it was all set and planned to take off (Magician 6 of Wands are great 'yes' cards) but something obv. fell through.

Somewhere there's a list of what is 'yes' and 'no' in Tarot. I'll find it and post it here.
