Is the three of swords always a indication of a third person involved??? I always took it as heartache hurt feelings not necessarily a 3rd person involved? Any suggestions?

I once went to a local psychic and she was always spot on for me. She said when ever that card shows up its always a third person...I remember I pulled the 3 of swords for u, it could also mean heart ache as well you have to look at the surrounding cards

Hey VS, Three of swords in tarot is equivalent to 3 of spades in cartomancy. Generally this means indecision and stress/anxiety. If it was love choice between two people I think it would be hearts(cups), and even then it is not always a 3rd person. You would have to also consider the other cards.

Hi! I'm not a tarot person, but I like to observe, and add to data. I've noticed the three of swords come up around issues of 'compassion' and heartbreaks (for sure). Also notice this happening around things involved with 29 degrees Scorpio!! (at least in western astrology, haven't looked at Vedic very long at all).

Right now, Saturn is retrograde, and about to RE-enter 29 Scorpio degrees.
