Hi everyone

For once I actually didn't ask a negative question and I still got an answer I wasn't pleased with.
I asked how my day would go tomorrow and I got Anchor+Snake+Dog+Fox+Letter.

I am concerned that an enemy/false friend will deliberately give me the wrong information.I might be reading the cards wrong though perhaps the snake represents an older woman.Maybe the snake and dog combined represents a older woman who can help me in some way.Perhaps she can can give me some advice or information about a job or career.I hope It isn't someone who is going to cause me problems because I have had enough false friends and I don't need to add another snake to the list.I hope those cards turn out to be more positive than I thought they would although even then I may still have to be cautious since appearances can be deceiving.

Hey PL,

Sometimes when we read for ourselves the the cards can be biased, either showing what we want to hear or showing us our fears. You said you were concerned - perhaps this feeling was still in the back of your head when you did the reading?

Pls dont quote my posts might edit later

Thank you VacantGazer

I hope the cards where only showing me my fears and that they are only fears. It is possible there is some fear in the back of my mind that caused this.I did intend the question to be a general question.I only felt a little bit concerned when I saw the snake, dog and fox cards. When I asked the question I was trying to be open and unbiased although it is possible my subconscious mind isn't as open and unbiased as I thought it was.I have been thinking a lot lately about what sort of job or career I would like to do and thinking about things that could hold me back.I hope you are right and the cards just showed me my fears.

Hey Panthera
On first looking at these cards from the the thread topic: I thought this was connected to a job and twists and turns in the past connected to stability (re: work). From my limited interpretation, there could be a friend who could help you find work? Possibly.

Thank you quietstorm

What you have said seems to be quite plausible. There actually is a woman who I know at the moment who could be helpful to me when it comes to work related matters.I did think it was possible the cards could be positive its just sometimes in the past I have been naive, trusting and should been more cynical.I think I want to be positive and have faith that things will turn out for the best its just I still am a bit of a doubting Thomas even without meaning to be.

does she have red hair(the friend)?
I agree with Vacant too, that sometimes our fears are projected onto the cards. I've had it show up many times, and the question never gets answered.

I pulled some cards for you: Sun + clover
There could possibly be an opportunity coming up in 2 weeks, right timing and luck are on your side.

I've seen the dog show up with jobs connected to charity organizations, helping people; those kind of things.

All the best

I know nothing about lenormand, but i went online and saw a website that shows combinations of two cards and what they might mean, so i looked for all of the above. As QS said it does look to be work related and help coming from a female co-worker.

On another note, I think when we see a negative looking card, we also tend to think the worst case scenario. Also when if the card shows us our fears it may cause us to ask the same thing again and again confusing us more.

The woman is a blonde I think.I haven't really been paying a great deal of attention to her hair.I'm not sure if she dyes it or not and I haven't known her very long so I don't really know.

Thank you for pulling the cards quietstorm. Hopefully I will have some more good luck heading my way.

I actually met her because she is connected to an organisation who are involved with people with mental health issues. She actually helped me get a voluntary work placement at a cafe for a few hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I think you probably are both right and that I'll probably get some assistance from a woman.Even though I knew it was possible it was a good reading a part of my mind thought of the worst case scenario like you said VacantGazer. It is a really destructive cycle asking the same questions over and over again.

Thank you both for your help
