Leeloo, I noticed something peculiar about THIS ecclipse; while it is not really triggering my natal chart big time, it is just uncanny HOW CLOSELY it is aligned with my NEXT Solar Return. But this is the thing, it is the next solar return, starting in 3 month, not the current one.
But still, the ecclipse taking place on 20 Virgo of course.
And my next SR has:
MC 17 Virgo
Jupiter 22 Virgo
NN 26 Virgo
Moon 20 Pisces
(of course that means in the next SR I will have an applying waxing Quarter Moon  ).
I wonder, do you think the Solar ecclipse could still have an effect on that SR? or is it just meaningless?
Well it is not totally without relation to the current Solar Return either, but the orbs are a little wide

I definitely think eclipses and major astro events influence SRs and progressed charts. Personally, I think and noticed eclipses have huge impact, huge energy bringing important changes or visible events.oh wow and thanks for that....you mean 2016 total eclipse is on my Sun 20 Virgo?  ------------------

I was curious to know what the cards would say if it was my future spouse who asked about the "who is he/she" part of the spread. So I had a little try ,Who is he/she?
1. physical:
The Star Queen of Pents 6 of Cups
The Star - fair haired
Queen of Pents: I read that it can be someone who looks well fed, doesnt wear alot of makeup
6 of Cups: perhaps reminds them of someone, looks like someone they've been with before? 2. psychological: 2 cards
Queen of Pents: serious/loyal
The High Priestess: quiet, private, does her own thing.
Strength: Strong? 3. profession: 2 cards 9ofSwords The hierophant, Temperance I'm not sure on this one I work in IT/banking 4. circumstances of First Meeting: 2 or 3 cards
8 of wands was upright when i laid out the cards,

Leeloo, the 2016 ecclipse takes place in march (total ecclipse) on 18.55 Pisces. It is a SN-ecclipse (SN on 21 Pisces) and conjunct Chiron 20 Pisces and opposing Jupiter on 18 Virgo (retro). Hmm looks like a bit of a repetition of my SR.
I wonder if this might be the other bookend to the ecclipse we have on 13th september? being on the other side of the polarity=?

Incidentally Mr Sag and me re-met about 3 weeks after the Scorpio-ecclipse in 2013. The solar ecclipse taking place on 11°15 Scorpio conj. Saturn 13.52 Scorpio. Interestingly it was falling quite close to our composite Uranus, which is the chartruler of course, on 12.22 Scorpio.
At the actual day, we re-met, Tr Mercury was on 13.37 Scorpio, and ther was an exact Saturn-Karma-conjunction with Saturn on 16.19 Scorpio, right on our composite MC on 16.40 Scorpio.
Plus Tr Venus was on 16.29 Capricorn conjunct our composite Venus on 16.01 Capricorn, which means that just afew hours prior our composite was having a Venus-Return.
Of course I had no clue before.
But our composite certainly has been effected by those ecclipses and transits.
Which just reminds me.

so interesting indeed! it will be opp my Sun then, on PM's Sun....it looks like a theme starting tomorrow and then perhaps reaching a peak in March....but being on the SN, it's like a movement from NN to SN, which makes it interesting... I wonder if this is supposed to bring illumination about karma, destiny, a 12th house vibe. ------------------

Yes, that is what I have been musing about too. Like something gets illuminated, or being brought into sight with the ecclipse tomorrow, and being finished and resolved and released by next march, preparing us for the next stage. it will be very significant for you and PM. (btw can I congratulate you today or is your birthday tomorrow? )
Maybe a chance to resolve something left over from the past?

Yes, you are right, the majors show what you describe, strong fated element, plus a feeling there is something important happening in the life of the querent in relation to the question, also that the querent is probably very aligned with it, they asked the question in right timing when something important is about to happen about that matter.
