I was pulling those cards to the question why someone was not at a certain event.
Got sick maybe?

And argument that made feel like crap and so they needed time to be alone and away from everyone. A mental break.

Was asking a follow up question and asked what the reason for this person`s need for a "getting away from all or mental break" might have been:

10 of swords - 4 of cups - 2 of swords

It seems like this fits the other spread in meaning, doesn`t it?

Yea it does. But in its a slight varied meaning. The needs comes from a depression about the situation that the person can't see a way out from.

Of course I'm picturing my own cards and in them the 4 of cups has a figure bent over looking at one cup that has spilled and cannot see the other 3 behind him overflowing. Followed by the 2 it seems like a stalemate. A class of wills. But furthermore that either the solution doesn't want to be seen or cannot be used as a solution for some reason. It may simply not be the ideal solution the person wants so they reject anything that's a short stop resolution.
