I have to give a short presentation tomorrow. Although its short and its not that important i really really dislike public speaking  I asked the cards how it will go 9 wands rev, 2 pents rev, queen swords Placing too much importance on it? Or i will get overwhelmed during it? Swords are mental cards but queen of swords is one of my courts so i think it is more representative of me than the actual presentation. Anyone help? Thanks! The reversed 9 of Wands and 2 of pentacles have the same message. Be gentle with yourself. You may be feeling absolutely overwhelmed with worry, but don't beat yourself up. It's OK. You can help yourself by seeking support from a friend or a work mate. Talk it through with people that you trust. And also by taking a pause. Allow yourself to feel your anxiety and then breathe deeply, till you feel calm again.Basically you are demanding too much of yourself. You will be fine. Hey Astro, it actually went alright as you said. Although I did feel quite nervous and I thought my face was going pink lol but it was fine, there was some participation from my colleagues with regards to questions and things so not too bad. That's good to hear, VG .Next time you feel nervous try concentrating on your breathing and counting breaths. Long slow breath in for 5 counts, hold for 4 counts and breathe out for 5 counts. It has worked for me in the past and is very calming. You can vary the counts to suit yourself. IP: Logged |
