What are ways in which you all know the cards aren't talking to you?

ex: asking a question and the cards answer completely opposite to the question which makes no sense
ex: or a celtic spread and ALL cards are reversed

Maybe the future isn't fixed enough yet till something else happens, so when you feel like that, I equate it to the Magic 8 Ball's "Ask again later."
