This spread is a hybrid spread and I can't succinctly remember where it came from, maybe from a book with the Mythic Tarot, maybe not, I have seen it somewhere else slightly different.

I though it was called a planetary or star spread.

Anyway the layout is a semicircle of astrological positions: Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun (at the top), Mars, Jupiter, Saturn. I've added a core card and three descriptors relating to the core card. I'm using the Mythic Tarot pack.

I thought this would be a good layout because it shows Venus (which includes love/relationships/resources) and Jupiter (expansion but also could include tertiary studies ie. ruler of the 9th, and it is astrologically based which you are interested in too!

So yes, for June with a focus on new relationships and studies:

Moon position(Dreams, memories, reflections, what we hold dear to us, and also more mundane aspects such as home, women/mother, emotions): Strength - of course very strong area for you and continues to be this month. The overriding impression of this card position for you for June is that you are like a fortress in your home and your emotional structure. You are fairly organised and if you aren't you have a reason backing why you aren't. If you have someone in your home you welcome them in however you are immediately seeking how to fit them into a mental structure of your home and your emotional realm. If they don't fit they may have to be swept out the door! You have no time for trivialities that don't fit with your mental constructs in place.

Mercury position (communication, doing the sums, mental approach, those you tolerate in routine interactions, 'local' outings): Hierophant - you are looking for events, 'go to' places, something with a programme, something to offer. Perhaps it might have a social tick in some quarters, you need key people - 'the' people within a social set and interest to you. So you might be combing the newspapers, review, etc to find some social events to attend to view, evaluate, critique and be seen at and then to share with others so you can stepping stone your way onwards to other ones. You would like to have some 'homies' in this and develop an elite or in group feel that might have a slight quirkiness to it. You want to approve and be approved at a social and communicative local event level, but you will be doing the sums to see what you can condone financially (that is, if it has potential to really contribute to you, you will pay more).

Venus position (can be money, is love/beauty/attraction, relationships, values): Ace of Swords - there is a lot in this and I won't do it Justice (Justice is also an aspect of this card, Haha). It is like you are prepared to give someone who is very important to you one last chance - and that's it, but the reality is that you will always have that one last chance for them. Its wearing on you though. You might think well, I can easily go and start a new relationship, however you only want a relationship that strikes a chord within you other wise it is not really a relationship to you. It sort of feels like you are waiting and watching for this last chance attempt to cross your radar so you can blow your stack in an attempt to show you are not someone to be trifled with however the reality is that you have given your whole self to them except for your voice.

Sun position (life force, what we are good at, who we essentially are, who we look up to, men/father, etc): Death - now interestingly when I looked at the overall spread I had a big impression of 'father stress/influence/effects'. You could be feeling like a wasteland in your psyche and within your energy. You have put so much energy out and in a particular focus that what is left are a bunch of blanched white bones holding you up like a bunch of skeleton keys. Interesting as it has a definite feel like things could change on a dime, or a penny could spin once and another side would be apparent. If feels like you have brought your whole self to a focus and forgotten about many other things and resources within you. It has come up that if you were to have a spa treatment or two and enjoyed a bit of nurturing and revitalising in this way, it would be akin to allowing the waters to come to the plains again and a fertile landscape would be apparent again. Kind of like it is there it is just taped down with very strong tape to be able to represent yourself in almost a token and very narrow representation to attempt to achieve a desired outcome from others. You probably would not have to change you focus of wanting the desired outcome, however some you time with spa treatments would make you feel alive again. It does not seem like you are off track just too severe on what you are allowing for yourself.

Mars position (directed energy, focus, motivation, activity, body heat, male drive/display): Knight of Pentacles - it is like your energy again is sustained but wearing. You have been going the distance with a venture/course and you feel like you are really slogging it out to keep making progress over a long time period. There does appear to be more to come of this however the good thing is that you can see some results that make it worthwhile and there is some esteem and value connected with it otherwise you might consider giving up. The money side of it is a bit wearing on you as well but you have a few angles on that and it might involve gratuities, tax offsets and that kind of thing perhaps. Also perhaps a young man is helpful somewhat like a stable and practical friend. Maybe they help you with things or a good sounding board for projects, fix it solutions, etc.

Jupiter position (expansion, tertiary studies, knowledge/wisdom/beliefs, higher minded things/philosophy, long distance travel, overseas, foreigners, guardians, benefactors, higher law, ethics etc): Seven of wands - a card of teachers, resistance, and standing your ground. You might intend to impart a certain ideal and you will fight for it. However, fanaticism can have the flip side of blind siding you to other things. Because this might be the key area of your studies and higher learning, it might be possible to be aware of this feeling of resoluteness that narrows your focus. Perhaps you do this to control the amount of info that comes to you so that you do not become overwhelmed. Possibly away that you can utilise this card here as a point of expansion is to become more open to things however use your skills and natural advantage to tend your own particular and unique qualities, insights, and interests. So its a kind of live and let live in terms of allowing others to have their viewpoints but then recognising and acknowledging your own morals, prowess, ability, knowledge, philosophical interests and inclinations. So again, like the death card in the sun position, this card position and card could turn you again instantly with a change of awareness to give yourself more credence and validating your authenticity. Another perspective on this combo of position and card is that you could be throwing your weight around (with awareness this could be done in two ways: one being a bit overbearing, the alternative perhaps doing something physical such as rowing or similar)

Saturn position (point of restriction, corporate affairs, organisation, career, the wheels of economy, authorities): Knight of Cups - Lots of light contact with others such as having your email address etc. It's like your time is being wasted and it could undermine you like you could be vulnerable to being used up by senseless shows of emotion and flakey appearances. An image suggests that you would be better to spend your afternoon making chocolates/sweets and gift boxing them for presents or offer them at fetes or to share with others at something like an afternoon of music by a river. This would have a better effect on your inner self as well as a contribution to the society around you and your part in it. Another aspect of how you read this is perhaps you have been to severe with blocking out the frivolous and the nicer things because they don't seem to be worthwhile or have enough meaning, and alternatively, resist or be discriminative/wiser on some incoming communications/invitations.

Overall, there was a feel that you might be getting short tempered with counter/wait staff and this is related to what has been said throughout the spread regarding a tight rein on something but it is making you want to muscle others because you might feel you are wearing a bit thin. You could even find children or anything light hearted is wearing on you making you feel more stressed.

Definitely some inroads into you to relieve the stress and encourage yourself would be good this month: the feel of things that could help are the spa treatment/s, maybe get your nails done too, maybe take someone small to see some baby chickens, feed the ducks, try a new cafe with an existing friend or family member, have some movie nights in with those you know well such as family and friends. This might restore you as you have been very organised but perhaps feeling a little parched on some level.

So perhaps this layout was more of a what is going on for you and how you can do more of some things and less of other things to be more of who you are of feel renewed and refreshed as best you can.

It didn't seem to point to much about new relationships but more so tend existing familial-like ones and people who stand by you. And perhaps in terms of studies it seems that you have the reason to keep going and that you are making progress but the way you could find some relief to the slog is to become more open to others views/information and yet not feel you have to take them on because you can turn your mind to appreciating your unique skill, insight, knowledge, interest mix that quantifies more of who you are and thereby energise and refresh you in your endeavours.

A goal of mine is to do a longer reading .

I hope this brief reading resonates. I got:
Six of swords, justice, 9 of cups, 8 of wands, hanged man

9 of cups also popped out when I was shuffling, so good to see it as the central card in the spread.

Have you been having a difficult time at work or perhaps been unemployed or struggling to find balance? 6 of swords signals that the upward journey will begin. June will be a month of transition to a better place. The Justice card indicates that your hard work is about to pay off or a state of balance is likely to be achieved. If there is a contract for work in the offing, then that will work out in your favour. An important decision will be made which will start a new phase.

Both 9 of cups and 8 of wands indicate that this month will bring forth some good opportunities and resolutions. Things will be going your way. So, less of the plodding through oppositions and setbacks. I think the hanged man indicates that for you the universe will solve the situation without your input. If there have been difficulties with work mates, then step back and allow things to happen - the best victories are often battles avoided while an enemy destroys himself. Matters will be resolved. Or it could be that after a flurry of activity you have a few quiet days to reflect and re-centre.

Moon / Strength: Good to see the Strength card. I am being more decisive and staying more focused on my goals – studies being paramount for the next 3 months. Yes exactly like you said “like a fortress in your home and your emotional structure”.

Mercury/ Heirophant - I am due to attend social events and talks related to studies where I hope to get ideas/info.

Venus/ Ace of swords – the bit about giving someone the last chance – that phase, thankfully is over. There is no one I have to give the last chance to. Mars / Knight of Pentacles – this seems to resonate with me trying to get my house altered and extended. Have been trying hard to find a builder, for example.

Jupiter / Seven of wands – Great advice here, to become more open to other’s viewpoints while acknowledging my own interests and inclinations. As later this month I will be presenting and discussing my dissertation proposal with the Uni department.

So I felt instinctively that I would like to do a 'tree of life' spread however there is a few variations on these and I know you would like the in depth Hebrew version with magician like kabbalistic 'pathworking', and the astral plane levels as well as path links between the sephiroth (Divine emanations) of the 'tree' relating to the journey depicted in the tarot major arcana, however, I would probably end up having to write a small book on it and I'm not sure what path I might end up on in the process, haha

So I have found a simpler version in Mary Greer's blog. It is called the practical tree of life spread originally put forward by a Rachel Mann (see Mary's blog https://marygreer.wordpress.com/2008/11/25/practical-tree-of-life-spread/

The way Rachel Mann from the Aeclectic Tarot forums link is different from Mary Greers. I like Mary's because it reminds me of the symbolism of the High Priestess card with the colums etc. And the high priestess card symbolises in some writings on the actual Hebrew version as the path between Kether (the crown, father) and Tipperath (the heart, beauty). It typically represents secrets to be revealed perhaps as it relates to spirit.

So yes, I've followed Mary's layout and read it according to her rationale of order.

I have only used the Major Arcana, the Aces, and the court cards.

So card 1 and 2(Force and Form represent “The Issue.” You can see Force as a generative, active energy behind the issue and Form as the form or structure the issue takes. (They can also represent two alternatives or choices.) Card 1 the force behind the issue, Page of Pentacles - Schooling, trying to maintain some structure of schooling despite some concerns, threats, etc. Trying to maintain some standards and stick to your values and some degree of basic rights. Card 2,the form the issue takes, The Chariot -having to take a long journey around in order to keep safe and minimise dramas, barriers, difficulties. Staying the path to keep on track with how you want to implement your beliefs and life. Ramadan starts tomorrow maybe this has an impact and perhaps there is something to do with the safety to practice faith - which for parents might include the idea of schooling a child to the faith. Anyway, "the Issue" seems to be holding to that which you feel is important and integral to your life and way of living. It feels there are issues of rights, safety, and a degree of suffering felt to achieve this and stay true to the requirements of what you believe.

Positions 3 & 4 – People or things going for or against you. (They can also express what’s expanding and contracting, or what’s coming in and going out.) Card 3, people or things going FOR you, Temperance - family and maybe a couple of close friends/people in your community. They have years of experience and wisdom they understand the delicate balance of things and opt for "going softly" but always keeping on. You may sometimes feel like being a bit more vocal and protesting but they tend to try and soothe you and influence you into a moderate middle path that doesn't attract too much attention/opposition. Card 4, people or situations AGAINST you, The Star - programs, vocal demonstrating others, a population that represents about a third of the country's population. They think they are right, and they perhaps are, you both are, but there is difficulties in compromise, in who has a right to what.

Positions 5 & 6 – Your feelings and thoughts. Card 5, your feelings, Magician - you have strong likes and dislikes. Smells, sights, and colours can affect you and change your emotions based on what you associate with these things. You can find relief by mixing more with others from different beliefs (to understand is to love). Its scary, but the people element might make you feel safer and more hopeful and contribute to more of a sense of peace. So sharing food in neutral places etc and finding the similarities whilst being curious to understand the differences. This approach might improve things and relieve the stress on you. Card 6, your thoughts, Queen of Pentacles - you might be able to swap recipes, look at fashion catalogues that have an overlap between cultures, talk about things common to all children, illness, happiness etc. Daily affairs and routines can be a bridge for you whether you share them with others or not. It will give you a sense of meaning and structure. The combination of the two cards might show that you have not been well at times. It seems like the fast becomes a relief from the fried foods and oily rich fruits.

Position 7 – World. Your body, possessions, physical manifestations. Card 7, The Hermit - There is some degree of reflection and observance in this time. You spend the time cleaning some household items and repairing or getting rid of old useless things. Position 9 – Advice. Your heart’s advice. The best you can do. Card 9, King of Wands - perhaps you have a man in your life, or you are a good man. You have to pay your taxes, and all sorts of everyday things that you would like to be exempt from. Perhaps you can enter into this time with courage and an expansive feel to welcome others to you and share in the good things in life.

Position 10 – Spirit. Morality or personal growth related to the issue. Card 10, The Emperor - so in many ways this typifies that you live you life in accordance with perhaps your family name and upbringing and the powerful guiding hand of a 'father'. This could be a religious father or significant person or even your own father. The annoying part here is that there is a bit of a conflict between your sense of self and the masculine overtones of the moral codes you live by. Perhaps you don't have enough room to feel like you can make a difference, be known for something/succeed, or lead a life of significance due to gender. Spirit might imply here that it is really only a way of life that has worked, that has good outcomes. It doesn't really have to limit you and perhaps don't be too perturbed by it. Allow your natural light and warmth to be expressed in your heart and in all that you do.

So I just copied the explanations of the positions and the optional card Da'at as mentioned, from Mary Greer's stuff.

Da'at: The World - the knowledge and secret inherent in this card position coupled with the World card could mean that you will have international travel, you may even move at some point. I don't think this will be the case in the next 4 weeks, haha, but perhaps you have some processes in place that will lead to either the world coming into your life more or you meeting to world more, one or the other but you will feel this expansion at some point and this will make you feel that the rain clouds have disappeared or are only transient.

When I get a simplified view or summary of the whole spread as it impacts the next four weeks I would say. Maybe venture into some driving skills again or see if you can brush up on driving by borrowing someone's car. You have good singing voices in your family too and this can be away to display some of the good things about your family and close others and also to feel more connected to a spiritual essence of beauty and meaning. Besides singing and celebrating makes life a little sweeter perhaps. The next four weeks are like a deepening into the heart and head of some kind of religious or spiritual mystery and sense of humanity in company with 'God' perhaps. You may feel a little small and in the shade at the moment however you can grow in your motivation to stay connected to the tapestry of life and culture across the countries and expanse of humanity.

Basically, you can be your own man in a way. But the paradox might be that the more you express your feminine quality through voice, style appreciation of various things, the more you strengthen your inner self in terms of the dramatic active vibrancy of existence.

It would feel like I have been unemployed however I am still full time employed though did apply for another job - that I didn't get, however, upon reflection it had its challenges with location. I thought I was going to get it though so I was shocked when I did not.

My work is very interesting though I had decided to look for another job because the work is very cliquey and tends to only put me into the communication loop when they want me to do something that they don't. Also the authority in the workplace follows the line of power monger to their minions rather than based on workplace role. I can tolerate it though I feel my temperament might suddenly one day just throw the towel in and I don't want to be unemployed whilst trying to get another job.

It is true about step back when I have difficulties with work mates. The power monger has a love hate relationship with me and at times when she has put pressure on me and I haven't cracked, she ends up cracking. She seems to be better now but still not sure whether she would like me there or not. I think not but she knows her job would be harder so she's conflicted.

I think I will leave at some point but I am getting a confused picture on how this will happen, maybe because it might not happen if I wasn't so confused, haha.

I did come to the idea a few days ago, like you say that I need to appreciate the unfolding of events and rather than suffer through the setbacks, enjoy the opportunities. The work does have a promotion that I'm supposedly in line for but that too is one of the reasons why I looked for work elsewhere - the job description was so long in the promotion and grew by another half a position, and the big boss tends to throw people like me under the bus to get him out of sticky situations. So overall, never dull but my main issue is my pride I think - which is probably a flimsy quandary.

The 2C and 3H popped out of my deck while i shuffled. I think the theme around your love life is communication and choices. Diamonds are also communicative cards as well as career related. Cards suggest you might have had a not so pleasent time recently in this area, there might have been some harsh words said and/turning point. Perhaps it was related to work/money things. The cards show you have been very patient and they also suggest you have been completing a cycle recently and starting a new one. New starts and transformations occuring during this period generally. They show movements and improvements in your emotional life and i think its possible you will have an new start in a relationship. You will be discussing relationship things with someone and will have some choices to make or perhaps you will be just feeling indecisive on things. I think you will receive a message/invitation from someone and this will bring about some positive changes for you. Three aces in one spread suggests this is an important interval for you, very transformative in a positive way. You'll be embarking on a new start in your emotional life.

The cards also suggest to me things in your working/career life. There seems to some indecision around this too, but there should be new opportunities for learning/growth coming up during this period. 6C is a card that shows movements in work/career things with the ad as opporunities and aS transformations.

I wonder if you are considering actually moving away for work/generally - 5H can be leaving the home, 6C is movement and the aces new starts/opportunities.

That is a great read, I have been very fortunate in obtaining both yours and AK's.

This is interesting because it is concurrent with what I have also read for myself however the job that I had an interview for fell through for me only a few days ago and I feel disinclined to apply for anything else even though the company said that I should apply for future positions with them. That job had all the hallmarks of the ideas that you have indicated such as possibly eventually moving etc.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!as I write this a really really weird thing just happened (not unusual for me to have the weirdest occurrences, I usually tell myself jokingly that I'm having a psychosis, haha when this kind of thing happens).

Anyway as I was replying to you just then, I was puzzling over how I had been seeing that I would get another job in this time as you yourself indicate as a possibility too etc. The background to this is that I originally thought I would hear the result today in my estimation however I found out last Friday. HOWEVER, however....I just received a phone call, thinking that it might be the interviewers redeciding my position, and amazingly it was another company calling from an application that I received a standard declined letter from about another position. This person said that my application had been mislaid and had been sent the decline letter when it was not supposed to be and that the recruiter had remembered me and was definitely interested in my application and experience and finally recovered the missing application. Anyhow I have an interview this Thursday and it is more in line with what I am doing but with a slightly younger group of clients than now and a slightly older client age than the failed job.

However, I'm not entirely confident with it though was honest with my application. Part of the job involves entering statistical data into software and then summarising and presenting the results to assist funding and the promotion, quality improvement etc of the service. I stated that I had some experience with that only in terms of research that I completed as part of a Master's degree that I have only just finished and passed. The job also includes counselling and therapeutic work with the 16-24 yr old client group. It meets all the criteria of the job I thought I would get in my own readings and had some similarities to the other job that I missed.

I'm actually home today because I am unwell. So I was glad to take the call in peace rather than at work.

I can barely think I will get through. I did see that after the first application closing date that they extended it by another 2 weeks so maybe they have really just dredged me up out of the previous failed applications after all, haha, as I felt I was at a stretch to meet the criteria confidently.

On the plus side I have had extensive experience with some of the other criteria. I'm just one of those people that sort of crawl out from under a rock and if people expect too much than I kind of wither and die before their gaze. Its my superdooper Virgo stellium plus plus plus, coupled with Saturn conjunct Chiron in Pisces in my second house and I think being supersensitive to it all with Transiting Neptune and Chiron kind of crawling through this house for some time now, though I do have Pluto trine my Sun and thought something definitely good would have to come out of that.

My self esteem is just a crumbling kind of jelly like creature sort of sliding out from slippery rocks and scrambling like a mofo to get back under if anyone wants to pick over me with any zeal.

So this could be it!!!! It seems like it will be and maybe I confused the idea of things with having thought I could strike this off the list and it also having similar things about it to the recent interview. It still has quite a bit of travel but is in a beautiful location and is a renowned fantastic service for a small number of resident clients. Yay!

Yes there should be a lot of scope for learning and there are a couple of courses I want to do that I would feel more inclined to take up now.

AHH, I can't imagine I'll get the job though, but I'll let you and Astro Keen know how I go.

Now I have to ask work if I can take Thursday off to go to an interview eep, as the boss is one of my references.

On the love life side of things, I have had an unusual communication experience with a guy over the last year. It is problematic in many ways and I generally would like to steer clear of involvement however they are a pretty exciting mix with a lot of dynamic personality traits. It is in fact their birthday today!!! But I don't like complicated and obviously problematic situations unless I have a game plan for survival and unfortunately I don't in this case.

Now you probably think I am insane but my life does have weird coincidences and synchronicity.

I didn't get the job that mysteriously resurfaced. Same reason as the first, I don't give enough examples in their silly behavioural questions that form the interview. I don't think my brain thinks like that and is more receptive to the client's experience rather than an imposed intervention.

I was devastated, I totally talked myself into thinking that I would get one of those jobs. My CEO has stated that he would like me to remain in the job and restated a pay rise would be happening. I'm pleased but had wanted to leave.

I feel I might do one of my random spontaneous resignations however it would probably go badly. Once I get the idea to go though, it becomes an obsession.

The begining of the 3rd week, my father got the heart he needed and the transplant occured very well.

I'm trying hard to decide what I need to do: start from 0 a new career or to remain on the one I have been in the last years.

And since the first days of June, I decided to leave the Reiki group, as I was seen that like one obligation and not a thing that was coming from my soul....

Sorry for the delay at this end. I just handed in an essay and needed to sleep for 24 hours.

Fou you I got:
4 of swords. Knight of wands, 5 of swords rx, 10 of swords, 6 of swords
This will be a month of thinking and creativity, not so much for relationships. 4 of swords says that you will need a time of rest and reflection first. You may be doing too much and feeling burnt out. Perhaps you may think of starting a program of meditation.

Knight of wands can indicate two distinct things - you will have contact with a younger man - perhaps the chance of an unconventional relationship.

Or that you have a creative idea which you want to pursue. You will wish to prove yourself to people but that is not at all necessary. There seems to be a week of some confusion and angst towards the 3rd week of the month. Perhaps to do with your creative decision but any confusion will be resolved. You will experience a calm time towards the end of the month where you think about your career choices and make decisions.

It was quite a bit of an interesting june, at least in terms of communications.

No sex. But a fiery new beginning, yes, fiery in terms of enthusiasm I think.

As I mentioned somewhere else Mr Sag had started doing these one hour podcasts with a friend (just a week or so after I "scolded" him - well he used the words, I would have said, I was simply pointing out an observation I made- for him having become so silent) and while he said in the beginning he wouldn`t know how regularly he could do them, maybe once a month, for now once a month has become once a week.
So he is quite a bit enthusiastic about those - for now.

I enjoy listening to them very much, not only because they are entertaining, his friend and him, but because it is almost like listening to stories of my own childhood. It`s surprising how similiar our tastes and thought patterns are (at least in *some* respects).
I can`t refrain from commenting, and he can`t refrain from responding apparently.
Nothing too deep or meaningful, but it`s been fun.
And funny enough almost like it`s become a "saturday-ritual" for the last 4 or 5 weeks, to have a small conversation.

So no sex, but nice chatting

Oh and I was going out last monday to the concert of another performer, but I did not get drunk, and while it was entertaining and nice, it was not that impressive.

Yes, as I elaborated on in the answer to Enneline there was.

Well, Mr Sag was announcing the date for the "Get-together with fanfriends for coffee and cake" in the beginning of june, but that is really the only thing that comes even close.
I wouldn`t consider it an invitation, even though he DID seem interested when we spoke about it the last time we met, that I would be able to attend (schedule-wise).

yes, I was mainly confused about the degree of his communicativeness, which was unexpected.

But the confusion didn`t last long. It`s just nice for now, and I don`t really care about anything beyond the Now.

Well I did sort of leave behind always putting tight controls on my communications. When I want to say something, I do; I like to communicate with people, and I guess there is nothing wrong about that.
