What about:

There will be an announcement from the tower(=Tower):
"Gate change!"(=WOF)
Everybody is not amused and goes to the new gate(=8 of cups).

Flight went fine, no gate Change or anything! Hooray!

I have been cleaning out my contact list, getting ride of all the negative men/people that have been in my life!

Maybe that's it?

airports usually have big buildings(tower) and they are places where people embark on a journey(the wheel moves - where u going to a place u were before??), and you were leaving a place/situation to go to another(8 cups). So perhaps it just represent u undertaking a journey today.

Yep I would say this is it. Especially if you randomly decided to do this. You may have even waited too long to remove these people but the 8 of cups shows you've made the decision to walk away.

Well the REAL answer showed last night-

Went out of town for work-randomly, out of the blue, met a man who I just adored!!!!! We talked for a while, I fell in love, found out he has a girlfriend and then I walked away 😢
