I had a bit of similiar thoughts. Interesting too, the Tower followed by 9 of wands. Like holding in your breath, even maybe clinging to something or at least not moving an inch, not even daring to breathe. You know like ordering time to stand still so you can freeze that moment and the bricks would NOT fall and touch the ground. Something like that. and then followed by the 7 of cups.

y'know, i like seeing "negative" cards followed by wands; it adds a don't-give-up flavour to the reading. what i don't necessarily enjoy is cups following the wands: it's like they put out the fire needed for response,resistance.

I personally don't think its a good idea pulling cards for a question we are emotionally invested in. You most likely pulled the cards you wanted to see.( That Q is about the wife of P., I gather ).
At least that's what happens when I pull for my own questions.
