I was wondering what some other meanings for Seven of Swords could be. I know that it can be deceptive and sneaky. Could it mean...getting what you need? I honestly can't think of anything else. **I am speaking generally, so the rider waite deck. IP: Logged |

Absolutely! I don't always see it as being deceptive. It reminds me of early morning weekends when I try to slip out for a cup of coffee without waking anyone. I am meeting me own needs while trying not to disturb anyone else. Sometimes you just need to go it alone!IP: Logged |

I think that it shouldn't always have negative meanings. One that I do use for the Seven of Swords is hiding something in order to make a nice surprise. Or planning something in order to reveal it later on - could be smthg beautiful IP: Logged |

I got one reading where apparently the guy saw me as 7 of swords.I was truly hiding something from him and it seems he noticed hahaha It wasn't anything "bad" though. He asked me if I was sad and what was going on on my life and I said everything is fine.I didn't want to talk about that.Basically yes I was lying to him but not to hurt him or something else. So Seven (7) of Swords is always sneaky though. Even if it's good? I know it can mean good. I got it a bunch of times when my friends were planning a surprise party for me! I thought they were talking sh*t. I'm wondering besides being sneaky or doing things "undercover" what other meanings? Thank you for your replies IP: Logged |

I also see this card as Walking on eggshells due to sensitivity of a matter. Like trying to avoid ruffling someones feathers and being extra careful. Or, like avoiding an issue by being nice on the outside but knowing full well the issue is there but you don't want to deal with it right now IP: Logged |

Hmmm...I haven't heard of it like this before. Wouldn't this fall under deception? Thank you IP: Logged |

not really a deception (as an alternative), just walking on eggshells and sneaking away from a looming face-off. IP: Logged |
