Hi,I did not think about this before.. but Last year I created a spell for a friend to cast. At the end she had to sleep with the spell under her pillow for 3* days.
I added this part because I know the subconscious can absorb way better what is close for many hours, especially during the sleep. *The spell itself was centered around the number 3 (write 3 times, sign 3 times, say 3 times) etc. Me and my friend grew up reading fairy tales and many had the magic number 3 in them, so I used this innate information for her benefit.
Besides, what the spell had to cause actually happened in 3 weeks also (i did not know in what time it should happen) Imo, its about what you believe, how much you believe, how strong you feel about it. You can do magic in any way/form, as long as you believe.
I never read books about it/followed specific steps - they actually hinder me (why should i listen to X to cast that ? i also dont feel the spell if its not coming from me). So i do what i feel like it works.
Bonus: My country actually has a tradition on the night of 5th january (Ephipany). Girls put basil under their pillows and sleep with it under. In that night, they will dream their future lover.

That's a creative way to manifest them. I wonder if it worked.  There's an old song I recently heard on the radio, the thought popped into my mind that the lyrics soundd as though he was saying he self programmed himself to love her.
