Topic: How do you know are cards show YOUR state

If you don't pickup anything from title, hope rest of text will explain the question...Tarot has their own ways of giving the answer and confuse me..
Today I felt a need to draw 3 cards reading for q: will he contact me and I've got:
page of cups
6 of cups
and Devil.
6 of cups as "known place, someone from past" or nostalgia card is something that today describes my emotional state.. I dreamed him last night and that left big impact on me.. These days I miss US, what I felt and in the same time I'm again hurt and angry. I was in peace for months and repeating dreams of him gave me restless days.
I'm wondering is this card spread projection of me and my feelings, instead of his feelings of nostalgia?
How do you distinguish when cards are speaking of you and not about your q?

Wanted to know how I am and to meet with him, if I want.
I didn't respond at all. So, Page of Cups as fast quick msgs
