If you have it but have been putting off reading it, want to buy it, or want to read it again, then feel free to join a Group Read. Any takers? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." You know, I've been reading Linda since I was 10, but until now, I hadn't ventured a read of Gooberz! Being here has whetted my appetite...sooo, I bought myself a copy!Unfortunately, I pledged not to read any other books till my own was done being written, so it will be another month or so till I can open up Gooberz. Oh, by the way, I bought mine used from a great site, www.abebooks.com Lots of inexpensive books from all over the world...and even some copies of Linda's books that are autographed, for any collectors. I know! I peeked, just a wee bit! And I'm eager...I'm normally a voracious reader, so this self-imposed embargo is difficult! IP: Logged |

Not sure if this belongs here, but it has been bothering me and I needed to share it There is a guy that I have had feelings for going on 2 years. He the same for me, but as circumstances would have it..well it just couldnt be anything more than friends. As a result I just had to move on. Pretty heartbreaking to say the least. Anyway, when I went home for vacation we (my bestfriend, myself and him) had a couple of drinks together. While sitting there he was telling me that he has tried to call me several times in Alaska and all he gets is endless ringing. I ask him to see the number that he was dialing, and when he showed it too me.....My bestfriend and I almost fell off our chairs, he had me listed not by Melissa, but GOOBER.This guy has no idea about Gooberz or who Linda G is.Ok long story Sorry to ramble, it has just had my mind going in circles every since I saw it and I needed to share w/you for some strange reason OH well good day to all P.S. Morgana, I still cant bring myself to read the last few pages..I need a big shove ------------------ Love & Light, Melissa IP: Logged |

Oops, sorry, misuderstanding Don't be sad, sister, all that you've read will always be with you I understand you though. At first I was very sad it ended, but then I thought: this is a massive book, it has so much in it, and I can open it anytime and read something from it, like I do with Star Signs I think the first reading of Gooberz was mainly a devastatingly strong emotional experience, while the second will be my starting to consciously grasp all the deeper meanings and knowledge in the book It's so human and SINCERE, isn't it? Linda's writing always takes me to the state of mind that I love, where everything is magical and where the world isn't just our jobs, bills to pay, taking care of the house and going out for drinks. Rambling now, sorry. Talk later, , morgana IP: Logged |

I couldnt agree with you more ! Sometimes I find myself coming to this site just to read what other people are saying, because I know that most of them are in that same head space that Im in Wouldnt it be great if we could stand on a sidewalk at a busy mall and hand out copies of her books, until we were sure that everyone had the chance to experience what we have been so forunate to experience!?! Well anyway, I am looking forward to starting over and like you, learning the deeper meanings. May-be this time it wont be such an emotional roller coaster ride !!------------------ Love & Light, Melissa IP: Logged |
