Michael J. Fox wasn't in it originally. It was recast and shot over from scratch.

They didn't like the way the other actor wasn't humorous.

Lol...so true! It's easier to come by a running refrigerator than a Delorean though.

I really like Michael J. Fox. Did you know his middle initial is really an 'A'?

quote:
Fox's middle initial "J" does not stand for anything (although he occasionally jokes that it stands for "Jenius" or "Jenuine"). His birth name is Michael Andrew Fox but when he registered for the Screen Actors Guild, the name "Michael Fox" was already taken. Fox said he did not want to register "Michael A. Fox" because it presented a play on words, and that he was paying homage to actor Michael J. Pollard.

This looks like a good place to put merry-go-round music.

Here is the making of the song "Up On Cripple Creek." Pay special attention at 3:00-3:20 to hear the merry-go-round/carousel music...

The Band - The Making of "Up On Cripple Creek"

When I get off of this mountain, you know where I want to go?
Straight down the Mississippi river, to the Gulf of Mexico
To Lake Charles, Louisiana, little Bessie, girl that I once knew
She told me just to come on by, if there's anything she could do

Refrain:
Up on Cripple Creek she sends me
If I Spring a Leak she mends me
I don't have to speak, she defends me
A Drunkard's Dream if I ever did see one
Good luck had just stung me, to the race track I did go
She bet on one horse to win and I bet on another to show
The odds were in my favor, I had 'em five to one
When that nag to win came around the track, sure enough she had won

(refrain)

I took up all of my winnings, and I gave my little Bessie half
And she tore it up and threw it in my face, just for a laugh
Now there's one thing in the whole wide world, I sure would like to SEE
That's when that little love of mine, dips her doughnut in my tea
[Sign Language - 'donut in my tea']
(refrain)

Now me and my mate were back at the shack, we had Spike Jones on the box
She said, "I can't take the way he sings, but I love to hear him talk"
Now that just gave my heart a throb, to the bottom of my Feet
And I swore and I took another pull, my Bessie can't be beat

(refrain)

Now there's a flood out in California and up north it's freezing cold
And this living on the road is getting pretty old
So I guess I'll call up my big mama, tell her I'll be rolling in
But you know, deep down, I'm kind of tempted
To go and see my Bessie again.

(refrain)

LOve & LIght ,
HRH

In Memoriam LEVON HELM May 26, 1940 – April 19, 2012

He was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas day,
When The New York Times
Said, "God is dead, and war's begun,
And Alvin Tostig has a son today."

And he shall be Levon,
And he shall be
A GOODMAN,
And he shall be
Levon,
In tradition with
The family plan,
And he shall be
Levon,
And he shall
Be a GOODMAN,
He shall be
Levon.

November 22nd. I think the tickets I have for The Little River Band are before Elton though...maybe on the 16th.

(Except to run errands and drive the kids around, going to concerts is probably the only time I leave the house. )

Here's a picture my sister (she's an Aries) took of me and Dave Mason (a May 10th Taurus) in Minneapolis a few weeks ago...

He said to tell you all that he's feelin' alright.

FEELIN' ALRIGHT - DAVE MASON

Seems I got to have a change of scene
Cause every night I have the strangest dreams
Imprisoned by the way it used to be
Left here on my own or so it seems
I got to leave before I start to scream
But someone's locked the door and took the key

Feelin' alright
Not feelin' too good myself
Feelin' alright
Not feelin' too good myself

Boy you sure took me for one big ride
Even now I sit and wonder why
And when I think of you I start to cry
I just can’t waste my time I must keep tryin
Got to stop belivin' in all your lies
Cause I got to much to do before I die

Before someone comes along and takes my place
With a different name and yes a different face

I wonder what Sign he is?

Can he sing? Or just wrestle?

And when you say 'tag team'...do you mean that in a good way or a bad way?
