I used all the ink in my high lighters underlining important parts I was like someone possessed, I devoured that book in less than a week! It did not seem like it was about me though, like some readers say it has that effect. The things I really identified with are the heart break and losing faith in god, losing loved ones...I was in tears through I'd say half the book! I mean that in a good way, as I tend to hold in my emotions. also there are a lot of parts I do not understand so when I get the time I will definitely have to read it again. I feel that reading gooberz has made me a better person though.IP: Logged |

Wow! In only a week? Awesome! Each time you read it, you will notice lots of different things. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I stayed up very late reading every night because I could not put the book down. I will make it my goal to read it again, but first I have to read sun signs IP: Logged |

It is about everything. It is about an Aries woman who learns about the world and Things. Thats about as good as I can do on a description. It is such a good book!! Give it a read sometime. ------------------ Love is the greatest weapon and Love is the greatest shield-Me IP: Logged |

Wow, I don't know what I'd do if my library didn't have an astrology section! Yes, I guess i checked out the 10th copy of it. Probably lots of people wrote in requests for Gooberz so the library got more copies. IP: Logged |

Hi! After years of waiting for Gooberz, someone gave it to me as a Christmas present two years ago. I finished it feeling utterly depressed & more frustrated than ever - poor book's been thrown at the wall several times. I cried buckets...not out of sadness but pure anger, because it brought back so many memories that I didn't want to remember, all in glorious technicolour, digitally remastered & fully interactive. Cathartic I suppose....and the timing could not have been more apt. Funny, in my reply to this post I WAS going to write that Gooberz had left me depressed etc. but that I hadn't "locked into" the story at all, that I didn't think it had any message or any relevance for me, I didn't "get it". Gooberz just seemed to stonewall me completely, answering one question with ten more questions, a riddle I couldn't fathom. I felt like my brain had been fried & then coated in marmalade and cotton-wool, as I read it again & again looking for the point I continually seemed to miss, thrust back in time in my memories to my darkest hours. And suddenly, just now while writing this, I "got it". Gooberz reflected back to me my own experiences, my own fears and nightmares.... Oh, I get it, I get it!!! Durrr!!!
