recently stumbled across this fantastic site - didn't realise there are so many like minded people out there....I read Star Signs approx 13 years ago - thought it was amazing and carried it with me around like a bible...sort of forgot about Gooberz but know ready to read it...please help:

I've been looking online to buy - are there two different versions of Gooberz??

I have found one with ISBN no 1571740600-April '97

and another with ISBN no 0962437506-Dec '89

...one is titled "Gooberz" and the other "Gooberz-a different kind of love story"

PLEASE HELP - PS is it all poetry??

Hi angelgab, my Gooberz is upstairs but I don't want to go up there because I probably won't come back for a while and then I will end up not responding until later, so I can't make a comment on the ISBN #. However, I believe that my Gooberz does say "Gooberz a different kind of love story". What does the cover look like? My cover has a man and a women on the front and it seems as thought they are spinning around and she has a wreath of flowers on her head (I think) and is wearing a flowing gown or something like that. They are in a meadow. I think that there is a rainbow in the background or something.

I don't know if there are two different versions but you know that I think that the bookstore Barnes and Noble has it or can order it for you. YOu can go to Barnes and Noble online and they probably have it.

Here is a link to the page on the Barnes and Noble online store, it has a picture too.
Also, it is poetry and a story, it is her "Happiness Poem".

I was off on the cover picture, what I described was the back picture. And, what they are offering seem to be used copies, if you wanted a brand-new copy you could go to the actual store and order it if there is a Barnes & Noble in the UK.

Welcome! Parts of it have a poetic feel, but it is not what I would call poetry. It is a story that is written in a poetic (prose) style to make it easier to read.

Not yet - having trouble getting a brand new copy...currently on order - but it could take up to 75 days !!!! (even then my order might be cancelled - in which case I'll probably look to buy a used copy)
