I just began reading Gooberz again, I am on canto seven, and I've realized that when I am in my imagining of the scene state of mind, It looks like a vivid dream, or other childhood memories I have of the sky being extra blue or the grass being an almost unnatural bright green. It's a rather special experience. I do not however, feel that the story conforms to my own. Maybe it will after a while... actually, I did have a calico cat that died, but my sister was the one who was really upset by her passing. I find this to be really distinct though, compared to how I imagine in other books.IP: Logged |

I don't know if it's so much about whether the circumstances match,... but about the feelings that you had at that age, the wonder that you felt....IP: Logged |
