Hello there,

My name is Zach and I am new to this. I have some questions about Gooberz. I met someone a while ago who I would consider to be a spiritual guide for me. We were so well connected and we loved each other right off the bat. Practically every time we talked she would tell me to read Gooberz. It seemed to be very important for me to read this book. She told me a little bit about it and I knew that I would read it, but somehow I was intimidated. She suddenly left my life months ago and I still feel that void. Yesterday the book popped into my mind and I broke down and ordered it.

I am a very spiritual person but I know very little of Linda Goodman. I guess I am wondering if some kind soul would help me out and answer a few questions for me. I am thinking that this book is important to my journey somehow. Thank you very much.

-Zach

Welcome!

Welcome to Lindaland!

Ask as many questions as you like, there are many of us who know Gooberz well.
Also, check out 'Lindas Life' if you want to learn more about Linda.

When are you expecting to receive Gooberz?

Hello Sun Child,

I guess I wonder what the book is about. I was told that it is written in prose and my friend was rather complicated in her descriptions of it. Does it have a plot or is it a book of messages? I read a brief synopsis of it somewhere and it stated that it was about soulmates, which is something that is very relevant to my life right now. Is there anything that would be helpful to know before I read it? I hope to get the book in the next few days. Thank you for your reply!

Welcome WiseHeart!

Gooberz is an absolutely beautiful book. One that is hard to describe. It is full of messages. You have to experience it for yourself. When the time is right for people to read it, it finds it's way to them. Looks like it will be arriving an a few days for you! How exciting! With soulmates being very relevant in your life right now, I'm sure you will enjoy this book immensely.

I'll quote the back of the book for you:

quote:
This is a book for those who have found love, then lost it...and for those still searching. A book of magnificent comfort for those who have suffered the bereavement of death, with an awesome cosmic revelation to turn grief into joy. A book about reincarnation, astrology, and religion. Gooberz will help to open the Third Eye of the reader, and will manifest mircles for the lonely and questing. It possesses a mysterious chameleon essence, which may cause it to become, as you read it, you own personal biography. This is an awesome book that will change your life.

Happy reading!

Thank you Taurus. I can't wait to read it. The more I know the more curious I get. Does it deal with astrology or anything that I should have some knowledge of in advance? Thanks for your help!

Youre welcome WiseHeart. It does get into astrology and many, many other subjects, largely esoteric, but not *only*. It might be helpful to have some basic astrological knowledge but it is not really necessary. If you find that you are having a hard time understanding the book (unlikely) you might want to read Linda Goodman's Sun Signs and Star Signs. Those books are high on my recommended reading list anyway.

That's my two cents. Hope it helps. Just have fun with it! Read it slowly and enjoy the ride!

Don't let its size intimidate you.

I thought it was just poetry, until I began reading it. From Canto One, I was hooked.

------------------
"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

And I have had three totally different experiences (read it three times).

I've decided I'm going to read it again, from front to back! Starting from tomorrow!

How's it going, WiseHeart?

Which Canto are you on, SC?

Heehee! Still on Canto Two...growing pains

we're the druids, here's our wish
to wave our wands, and make Magic Fish
who can swim through the sky
and mysterious mountains, who know how to fly!

On Canto 15 yet?

Yep, but haven't started it yet.
I'm still digesting 14.
I posted some of my favorite parts in the other thread.
I really want to write my review for that canto, but it's really hard to put it in words.
Make me do it! Because I hardly get around doing the things I'm meant to do, and look at YOU!
You wrote something for each canto!

I just made a string for each Canto, so people could respond when they read each one of them.
