recently i was thinking about lucy and peppermint patty because of how much they look alike and the whole twin souls thing. one is me, one another.i know it is strange and somewhat of a grasp to equate comic characters as being twin souls, near twins, etc. but that is how my beautiful mind sometimes works. this is the first go around for me reading gooberz. what a story!! anyway, early on, in what number canto i do not recall, linda mentions charlie brown and his ever so famous quote "good grief". she then mentions lucy. later in canto 14 she has a peanuts comic strip on page 469.(added makes number 19 which goes to 10 which is gooberz - image, love) linda states, "i mused to myself - lucy is a gooober". page 468. how wonderfully cool that there is the connection of my thought of lucy, even before i read gooberz and how that connects to the book. also, another foot note, 10 in star signs is the sign of wheel of fortune. i am akin to hawks and have many dreams about them. according to ted andrews in his book "animal speaks" hawk is akin to the number 14(the canto) and that number 14 equates to a tarot deck 14 - wheel of fortune(the number 10 in star signs) any else have such amazing connections with the book? Great ideas. By the way, I have that actual clipping. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." Some months back, I realized it is not Peppermint Patty at all. I had the WRONG girl. It is Violet Gray.------------------ "Once in a while you can get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right" Robert Hunter IP: Logged |
