OK so the cool thought I had was about miracles ... I'm now again at the bit where the nun gives young Linda her rosary ... the one she later lost and then found again. And the nun said : It's because you believe in miracles, like Jesus. So for some reason I was thinking about something else, I mean something else occured to me, and then I realized it sorta relates to miracles------------------

OK so here goes ... When I read the oart about the question of why the symbol of a snake biting it's own tail is a symbol of infinity I was really intrigued, because when I studied Jung and his theories on the psychological significance of ancient alchemical texts this image also came up. Anyways, it suddenly occured to me ... Well, actually not suddenly. Let's start like this:
Why would a snale bite it's own tail? Is it hungry ... is it eating it's own tail, eating itself?------------------

Well, reckoning like this, that a snake doesn't have hands, and must grip what it wants with its mouth, maybe the snake just wants to HAVE the tail. But why would the snake want to have it's own tail? I mean it already IS it's own tail. It's tail is part of it!------------------

So maybe the snake doesn't realize that it's tail is part of itself. You know how dogs chase their own tails? Well imagine this really enormous cosmic snake sliding happily along through the universe when one it spies something cool ... a beautiful long slithery slimy greeny purply thing that reminds him sorta of himself ... I mean let's say the snake is so big it has never even seen it's own tail and so the head doesn't recognize the tail at first as being it's own tail. So the snake goes ... ooh pretty, wanna have that ... and it lurches for the tail .... ------------------

And of course what happens is the same thing as what happens when a dog tries to catch it's own tail ... as the head moves so the tail moves ... I mean let's say the snake has come full circle so that any forward movement it makes causes the tail to move forward. So each time it tries to grab the tail the tail slips away.------------------

So maybe that's how it is with two Gooberz ... they're like part of one thing but when the head moves the tail slides away ... like the ever elusive rainbow.
Eventually the snake figures out that it's looking at it's own tail ... after that the miracle of grabbing the tail becomes easy .... because unlike a dog a snake is pretty twisty ... However it will first have to turn and re-maneovre itself so it can grab hold of it's tail. So maybe that's how out oneness with the universe and the source of all being is ... it's all one and the same thing ... so when you long for something it is actually in your grasp but first you must let go of it a bit and turn a sharper angle or something ... Well this makes sense to me does it make sense to anyone else?------------------
