Mele's talks about Pan has sparked a memory of some curious information:Egypt was once known as the Land of Khem, the Khema being a group of stars now known as the Pleiades. Placing the Pleiades directly over the apex of the Great Pyramid makes for some interesting correlations. The constellation Taurus falls over the Taurus Mountains (Turkey)
Ursa Major (the Geat Bear) falls over Russia
Draco the Dragon's head falls over China
Orion (the Hunter) falls over Iraq/Iran
Aries (the Ram) falls over Rome
Capricorn (Pan) falls over Panama, Panuco, and Mayapan (Yucatan)
Aquila the Eagle falls over ... America As above, so below.  Coincidence? I think not! Walk in Peace

Forgive my ignorance, but what has the Ram got to do with Roma? I can see the rhyme, but it doesn't rhyme in e.g. Norwegian?
I'm also unclear as to how the Hunter relates to Iran/Iraq?

Yes, magnolia ~ we can see the rhymes here, but for the most part, do not know the deeper associations of these constellations with the countries they "overlight".About the hunter and Iran/Iraq ~ obviously, Orion rhymes with Iran. But there *is* something I have read on this which I feel is related. It is said that each planet has several energy portals (gates), only through which one may enter and leave the planet. In case of Earth, the principal energy gate is said to be over middle east. There are others too, but this is the biggest one. It is also said that Earth is an important planet in plan for the Uni-verse, and that a struggle is going on between the forces of Light and "Darkness" for control of the planet. Currently, the Dark side controls the middle east portal.  I have also read that Set, and his companions, who make up the forces of Darkness, live in the constellations of Ursa Major, Ursa Minor and *Orion*. So, it could be a possibility, that their control of Orion allows them control over the middle east region (Iran). And by the way, it is no coincidence that we see so much violence in that region. The dark side thrives as long as humans live in fear, and to this end they try to create as much fear and chaos as possible (through wars).  ------------------

It's just terrible how the Middle East has been troubled for so long - and the Balkans, too. Notice how both these regions were relatively peaceful until the West intervened and forced incompatible groups to share the same space. But there must be plenty of such cases all over the world, where war doesn't break out!? Maybe it's just bad karma - I read someplace that even geographical space is affected by karma.

magnolia, I certainly feel Karma affects geographical regions. Linda explained this in Gooberz ~ how the casino industry's activities caused a shortfall of rain in the region where they used to operate. So certainly, in the long term, our vibrations (which are formed by our karma) do affect our surroundings.Ra ~ I have not heard about the Ram of God.  I had another thought recently about this relationship of stars/constellations to the countries they probably overlight. Could the rise/fall of civilizations have been influenced by changes in their corresponding stars? Is there any constellation which corresponds to Atlantis? ------------------

Ra,Arcturus ~ the Artic?
Antares ~ Antarctica? These stars are probably important. In Gooberz, Linda's Guru refers to Arcturus as "the station" (, or something like that). And in a lexigram YIVY did (YEAR TWO THOUSAND AND TWO) it was hinted that Antares is the home of Ra ( not you, the 'Creator' Ra ). And of course, the Artic and Antarctica are the poles of Earth! ------------------
