Hi! This is my first post...and it is an important one!!! I am pregnant and scheduled for a c-section on November 9, 2000. I plan to name her Jordyn Rain. I've looked in Linda Goodman's Star Signs for my new baby's numbers....and her key name numbers make me smile...but should I be concerned that she doesn't have a compound birth number?? Since it is my choice and not hers? I am brand new to numerology, and loving it! But I fear I don't know enough yet, to wisely choose Jordyn's birth date. I feel bad enough that I have to do that..so the least I can do is choose a day that is good. PLEASE NUMEROLOGIST'S - HELP ME!!! ) Thank yo so much! IP: Logged |

SnowWhite, Thank you so much for the compliment!!! As you well know, choosing your baby's name is one of the most difficult tasks of parenthood!!! It took us awhile to agree on that one and I cannot wait to be introduced to Jordyn (in person). Thanks again!IP: Logged |

oh believe me I know that one well!!It was quite the task to choose the names (mainly cos my ex-husband decided to limit our choices to Biblical names ONLY after I had a lovely list of Celtic names picked out LOL) Anyway I hope bumping this up gets it the attention it needs so you get your answer. Oh you are just going to have SO much fun with a girl!!! (I have 2 boys and they are fun too but a girl... *gets dreamy*)

Hello Ladybug! I like the day you've chosen, but if you are concerned about the Compound Number thingey, you could go to the last page of this forum and see which numbers you feel good with. I like 10, 15...19's great. Then again, maybe there's a deeper meaning behind your choosing a date with no compound number. Also, you should check the planets for what's up with them on the day that you choose. Relying only on the numerological aspect of the date won't give you the whole picture. Let us know what you finally decide. And, ... Congratulations!!! IP: Logged |

Aquamoon, Thanks for the advice, I pretty much know about the other days....13,15, 19 and so on. It seems so much better for Jordyn to have a compound number, that is my concern...what does it actually mean to not have one? I cannot find that answer out in my searches...but then, like you said, maybe I am not supposed to know Checking out the planets sounds like a terrific idea, but how do I go about doing that? Is it something I could do on my own, or do I have to SEEK an experienced astrologer? I would love to start gaining more Knowledge in that area also. Again thank yo so much for your advice..tell me more please!!!ladybug IP: Logged |

There are many people born on a single number day, such as myself. I think in the birth date case, if you don't have a compound number, it's not bad or good, it just is. Focus on the compound number of the total birthdate, like Linda did in Star Signs. Nov 9, 2002 (you did mean 2002, right? 'cause you wrote 2000!) would add up to the number 24 (I don't know the meaning off the top of my head) but it reduces to 6 which is Love! What a great message for a new baby! I'm glad it's not Nov 8, because us "8" kids have a life full of Karmic debts and weird twists and turns!I'm no expert, but that's what I learned so far. And I think Jordyn will be born when she planned to be born anyway, c-section or not! We decide on our chart before we arrive on Earth, I've read. Love and good wishes, Katee IP: Logged |

Ladybug, you could ask someone in Ask the Astrologer to check the transits for a particular day for you. Don't worry too much about the Compound Number, it only means there isn't a karmic lesson or gift associated with the birth number.Picked a date yet? IP: Logged |

katiebull, Thank yo for the sound advice!! That makes great sense and her new compund number 24 (yes I did mean 2002..opps!) is my day of birth...which makes me feel great! I jsut feel weird about "picking" her birthday, and want to do a good, so I have to believe that she is helping to guide me to the day she is meant to enter this world...but thank yo so much for the input. Weird coincidence..my husband grew up in Sussex, NJ..you were neighbors...it is beautiful up there!Ladybug IP: Logged |

Ladybug,He grew up in Sussex? I was born in Sussex and lived there the whole time growing up!! (I am even a High Point graduate!) I am very curious to know who he is...do you both live in the area? Don't worry about trying to plan the best everything for your baby...she's already got it all figured out, the advantages that she will have and the tests she will have to go through. And being a Scorpio, I'm sure she can handle just about anything!! Take care, put your feet up, and have some peppermint tea! Katee IP: Logged |

auqamoon, The "tentative" date is 9 November...I just told the Doc that I wanted to research the date a bit. I am so glad I found Linda-land!! I will definitely go to the Ask the Astrologer forum....thanks for the tip. I just wanted to make sure that if I pick my babys' b-day, AND leave out a compound number (thus there isn't a karmic lesson or gift associated with the birth number)that I am doing the right thing! It's difficult and scary leaving it up to me! I am just glad to have the help of everyone in here! Thanks again, LadybugIP: Logged |

Hi, I have been absent from posting anything for awhile, but I have faithfully checked the bulletins! I just wanted to let everyone know (thank you all for your help!) that I will be a new Mommy on the 6th of November! I just finalized my plans with the Dr! i am so happy with this birthdate...now I must go to ask the Astrologer to see what the stars say about this day!! Any astrologers out there want to take a look???? As soon as I settle in with baby Jordyn, learning to read the stars is my next endeavor! Thank you again!! Think of us on the 6th!Ladybug IP: Logged |

Hi ladybug! Welcome! You and little Jordyn (love the name and your spelling of it!) will be in my thoughts on that glorious day... and wow - it's only a week from this Wednesday! I think you've received wonderful advice here! Now she'll have a secondary compound key number of 21 - The Crown of the Magi Sweet! eternal IP: Logged |

Eternal, Thanks for the greetings! I am so happy that I found Linda-Land...as everybody says this the first time they enter!! I am so happy about Jordyn's secondary compound number of 21!!! My Dr and I decided on the 6th w/o my knowing about 21 yet, and I was extra happy about finding that out afterward...it made all the planning and prepping (when it is supposed to be a totally spontaneous event) seem a little more magical like I had hoped! Yes...all the postive thoughts our way that day will be greatly appreciated!!! By the way, I live in NC also!! Cool! Thanks again Ladybug IP: Logged |
