In numerology, which holds the most significance? The birth number based on birth date (which by and large you can't control) or the number based on the name bestowed at birth?

My three children are adopted and we gave them completely new names, first middle and last. I just sat down and did the numerology for all three kids based on birthnames, adopted names and birthdates.

I found it really interesting that they all end up with variants of 3 in their adopted names.

At the time I was choosing their names I knew nothing of numerology at all. I was just focusing on trying to find only Biblical names for them as my (now) ex-husband refused to entertain any of the names that I truly loved. :-p

I am guessing that the birth number is really the deciding factor. Any thoughts?

Yes, the birth number as well as the astrological sign corresponding are the most important! The name numbers come second. Names are very important becuase of their vibrations!

kewl! Thanks!

Ok... hrm...

Jacob is an 11 if you don't break down the numbers and a 2 if you do for birthdate. He is a Sagittarius/Sagittarius/Aries and lemme tell ya he is also 90% of my daily stress too! His name number (adopted name) is 6

Leah is a 5 for birthdate. She is a Scorpio/Gemini/Capricorn. Her name number (adopted name) is 9. She is my little DIVA!

Benjamin is a 3 for birthdate. He is an Aries/Scorpio/Capricorn. His name number is also 3. He's my little angel boy and is the funniest kid. I expect him to be a prat-fall artist or something. He likes to be goofy and fall over for laughs :-p
