Hi everyone! For those of you unfamiliar with me, my name is Tammy: a.k.a. eternal, which I go by here on this site. I was invited here to Randall's site on 11-11-00(LOVE THOSE NUMBERS!) and finally came to be a member 2 months later. I wasn't able to post much in the "early" days due to school. Now with starting my home business and devoting more "time" to the subjects I love(practically all under this Forum (String) I look forward to our sharings in our growings of the knowing-things. (Say that 5 times fast) I thank Randall again for his consideration of me - I am truly honored. I look forward to sharing this Moderatorship with Ra in this forum. In Love and Light I am eternal IP: Logged |

I love the Xanadu cd, eternal. I saw the movie in the theater when I was about 7 or 8 and I remember saying I wanted to be a Muse when I grew up. To bad that can't pay my bills! There are a lot of really great songs on the cd, though. IP: Logged |

Thanks for all the welcomes!!! Amber - I have a confession: My cousins would listen to that soundtrack ALL the time. They wouldn't let me "hang" because I was a wee-one. I remembered the music when the movie finally came on TV. I sang all the songs when I didn't even know the movie. After I saw it, I wanted to see it over and over again (which I did). I used to try on my cousins' rollerskates and act out the scene in Xanadu where they skated in the club and also the scene where they "came out of" the painting on the wall... I would belt out "I'M ALIVE!!!!!!!!" with Being a muse was a dream of mine and just the mention of the name Zeus was sooo magical to me. eternal IP: Logged |

ahhh see! So many people cringe at me when I mention the movie but once I start singing songs they have to admit they have a soft spot for it. That movie is the reason I still want roller skates and not roller blades! And I'm Alive is a GREAT song. I still listen to it in the car full blast. I managed to get the soundtrack on cd and I have the movie on dvd! I'm such a cheese-head!

Oh, I love that movie, too! Yea, it is kinda cheesy, but so is Clash of the Titans and Sgt. Pepper and they are on my favorite movie list, too. Guess I just have a thing for cheese Amber, didn't you ever see Albert Brooks' movie The Muse? Apparently, being a muse pays quite well Very nice to meet you, eternal! Looking forward to having you moderate me IP: Logged |

Thank you Jakie, thank you shamrock. Speaking of the B movies as they are called or "cheese" : Flash Gordon was one I liked as well... I liked how he and that girl in the movie could talk to each other without saying a word(telepathy)... I didn't know as a wee-one what that was, but it felt really real to me. (in the background singing "Flash... ahh ahh, he can save everyone of us") eternal IP: Logged |

I used to LOVE Flash Gordon! I remember getting cable tv for the first time, not everyone could afford cable tv...and we even had HBO!! Remember the rolling HBO? COOL! But, everytime it came on, I watched it...I also loved Valley Girl...I fell in LOVE with Nicolas Cage thanks to that movie..and always used Cover Girl makeup thanks to Deborah Foreman being their spokesman after the movie hahaha...am I telling my age? We've definitely had our share of squabbles and even a few real enemies, but no matter how difficult the battle, once the smoke cleared, Lindaland was still standing--and we became stronger as a result each time. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I'm back and doing well. I've missed being here. I had lots of things I had to deal with, go through, and heal, as well as becoming a new mom. This may not be the appropriate thread to re-introduce mys-elf, but I love Universal Codes and came across this post by me and was curious and saw the question asking how I was. I thank you! So.... I am back. Hello to the friends still here that new me "back then", and hello to the members that have joined since I've been "in hiding" (LOL!). I think I'll post this message as a new thread - hence the title of this one. WOW! I'm soooooooooooooo excited to be back!!!!!!!!!!! *magic and miracles* eternal (Tammy) P.S.
