I read it years ago when it first came out. I'd have to reread it to discuss any specifics about the book. But, I do remember being very impressed with it and thinking that there was a lot of truth in it for a "fiction" book.IP: Logged |

Funny you should ask...I just read The Celestine Vision! Parts of it did not appeal to me - the scientific discussion and the last chapter. I thought the rest of it was really on point. However, after flipping through some of Brunton's works and Bailey's, it seems rather cursory now. Still, I think it is important to read anything spiritual, meditate and reach out to like-minded people in order to strengthen the connection with the Higher s-ELF. Hopeful IP: Logged |

I have read it some time ago, also read the Tenth Insight and it was a good novel, but I was not really impressed overall as to the message. There were many parts of it I disagree with. I have been a deeper Path (inspired by Linda Goodman's StarSigns) and I have received many profound insights which do not resonate with the overall message of CP. It seems to me his books were written from a perspective of limitation, perhaps a partial enlightenment. James Redfield does not claim to be an Immortal nor is he an Immortalist--at least not yet IP: Logged |

I have also read the book and the tenth insight. I was really bummed to find that it was fiction but,,,most of it isn't if you fallow your intuitions and the coinsidences I believe you can find your right path and move on to a higher level of awareness. It is also a good book to fallow to better your life and to straiten out your life dramas you get what I'm trying to say????/ IP: Logged |

I loved the book. It's very powerful. I actually startd to see 'energy bubbles' as a result of practising the exercise I read about in the book. I found it to be a very positive, motivating book. IP: Logged |

Hi All, Ok here is my take on the book... I read the CP... The day I returned it to the library,, I was going to check out the Tenth Insight and didn't even have to. The library was having a book sale, I found all three books and bought them for .75 cents... How is that for a coincidence?IP: Logged |

I read years ago and lately my boyfriend and I were talking about it and he didn't like it. So I reread it and I was just amazed. Personally, as a novel, it is very poorly written. But the ideas behind it... about coincidence and energy and especially CONTROL DRAMAS are deeply important. It brought me great comfort to read this book again. I've been trying to emit better energy towards people and have even felt better. I don't really compare it to Linda's teachings, except that it's all about love. Linda was a bit more of a master than James Redfield, in my opinion. Have not read the Tenth Insight yet. From what I hear, it's not really worth it. Anyway, thanks for the feedback, everyone! With love, LMB IP: Logged |

Is that this book where this guy is running around in the mountains of Peru or womewhere searching for something? In that case: It's one of the biggest piles of rubbish I've ever read. I was shocked to find out this was an international bestseller. What happened to people's brain and ability to use it? GONE???IP: Logged |

the whole time i was reading the celstine prophecy, i was thinking about star signs i was craving it in fact!there are a lot of similarities in my opinion, like the high energy of mountains, the raising of vibrations, the coincidences of a teacher arriving when the student is ready, and of course the overall messages of love, peace, and patience the celestine prophecy is very poorly written, and repetitive, but the message is awesome i'm reading the third book right now the second one was difficult to get through, a bit cheesy at times and the third one so far seems to be a re-cap of the first but i still love the message, believe in it, and do my best to pass it on and if you can get the message without reading these fictional books....rock on! much love, lux IP: Logged |

*bump*Has anyone here read this? I just did today, from front to back. Haven't received the tenth insight yet though. He wrote it to help troubled teens. It is a beginner's book that can start someone on the path to enlightenment. It is a masterpeice for it's purpose. Linda would approve. IP: Logged |

Yeah, the day I met my first two avatars (and only ones) I was asked if I read this. It's probably the most asked question if you mention spirituality that I've had "Have you read the Celestine Prophecy?" I agree too that it's written poorly, but could even be more powerful due to that. It's a great first step to understanding spirituality and I highly recommend it to all cynics and newbies. That said, it's very logical and intuitive. A real eye-opener. I thought Star Signs was by far the greater eye-opener and mind-spiraller, but CP is great for it's purpose.Heaps of Love, Dean. ------------------ I realized it for the first time in my life: there is nothing but mystery in the world, how it hides behind the fabric of our poor, browbeat days, shining brightly, and we don't even know it.
